really really bad
Online mode can keep me entertained for hours! Plus this version of the game runs so much better, with my PC personally running it at a consistent 60-170 FPS with MAX graphics!
as of the Quartz center update all the mission have been nerfed to all hell, as well as makinging grinding impossible.
TLDR - Rockstar wants you to buy more Shark Cards so you can get the new cards for $50. If you're new and want to be able to do the new content any time soon either have freinds who can carry you or spend an extra $200 on Shark Cards. If you want to play solo - you've just had your money making ability crushed.
since JEWstar Games has been doing such scummy and greediest moves in this game during its lifespan, yall should just imagine how GTA VI Online will be.
GTA 5 is one of the best single-player games, as almost everyone knows. Right now I'm not evaluating its story mode. This review is solely about its online mode. Personally, I love grind games, especially achievements that are hard to obtain. In total, I've probably put in 1,200 hours (600 hours on Steam Legacy, 100 hours on Enhanced, and about 500 hours on Xbox). Despite this, GTA Online is one of the worst games that doesn't care about your free time. The game mechanics are filled with senselessly drawn-out actions: want to take down a picture? 10 seconds of doing nothing on a screen; want to hack something? 15 seconds of waiting for a line to fill on the screen. There are countless examples like this that just drag out time, when they could have either simply cut the wait time or had an action happen in 1-2 seconds. The ridiculously inflated inflation is another issue. Over the years, the price of simple items has increased so much that you need to grind for several hours just to afford them. There's no need to talk about the prices of sports cars and businesses. We all know why everything is so expensive. Rockstar is an extremely greedy company; they want to sell as many Shark Cards as possible. The last update is so terrible, it made me decide to delete the game. I can't remember an update this bad in any game. Did I mention Rockstar is a cheap bastard? They ruined the old content, nerfed the money-making methods, I've lost count of how many times they've crippled Cayo Perico. Why? So they can milk players before GTA 6 is out. On top of that, the new content isn't good either. The Kortz Center Heist is a copy-paste of the casino heist; the setup missions are identical. You'd think it was made by AI. Modern GTA Online has become like a mobile game, crammed with microtransactions, pay-to-win and pointlessly dragged activities. Based on Rockstar's recent actions, I'm already scared of what GTA 6 will be like in future.
Was a good game until this last update changed how heists are paid out. You used to be able to grind out these heists no problem and no one had any issue with how the payout system worked, That is until everything changed when the fire nation attacked. If Rockstar wanted gamers to play other parts of online they would have implemented an incentive system that reward players rather than punishes them. The timing of these changes also makes me question why with GTA VI coming out in November. The only conclusion I could come up with is that Rockstar want players to buy shark cards instead of grinding the game. These changes have made me very hesitant about purchasing GTA VI. If Rockstar go down this rabbit hole I'm afraid I will not and cannot follow. In conclusion these changes have changed my mind about purchasing any content from Rockstar in the future and saved me $100 from not purchasing GTA VI.
This might just be the first of, if not the only game to enter its teenage and be receiving updates/DLC. After 10 years, I started to build up a sizable balance and understand the fluidity between revenue vs expenses as if I was dealing with an account statement. So many things could be done better - the insanely skewed economy in the online version for instance, but I can't stop going through the same old process of grinding through it for the love of the game, just because of how well the game design is. And Rockstar just keep on one-upping themselves. Can't wait to go to Vice city though.
