Gothic II: Gold Edition

Better than most AAA Games

I first played Gothic 2 in 2005-ish and it was one of the games that made me realize i love action RPGs. The game stands on its own, but nowadays you have so many great total conversion mods that are even better than g2 + expansion. Its gotten to the point that it is as easy as going into the steam workshop of the game and subscribing to a mod and youre good to go. on top of the possible high tens of hours for a single playtrough, you can get literal hundreds if not a thousand of hrs of good quality total conversions, some of which take place in the same universe. And thats not to mention the replayability value of vanilla and each good quality mod, as most of them replicate the piranha bytes formula of 3 factions (sometimes even more) + various viable builds - i must've played thousands of hours of that game over the years, as I still have CDs (that made me feel kinda old) with Gothic I, II and DVD of Gothic III, Highly recommend, especially to everyone outside Poland, Germany and Russia, cause in these places everyone and their dog knows what Gothic is.
