Gorogoa

Very interesting game!! It's simple, it's beautiful, it's very short. There are 11 achievements you can get, 6 of which are the easy "complete the game" kind. I will happily go through the game again to get the achievements. Playing the whole game again will most likely take a third of the time I took to complete it at first. I got this game to add to my little selection of games to play in bed, right before going to sleep. This one fit all my criterias: it can run on my old laptop that is not made for gaming whatsoever, plus it's calm and relaxing. So it was great for that purpose... if you have more self control than me. I was so invested in the puzzles, the universe, I've ended up playing the whole thing in one sitting and going to bed a little bit later than planned. Oopsy! Storywise, I don't really know exactly the story was, but I think it's sad? Nostalgic? Melancholic? I don't know, but that was my overall feeling going through the game. (Which I did like.) Got it on sale (70% off) which was a great price for the short amount of time it took for completing the game once. As of paying full price for the game, it will depend on you: if you want a game with more content, there are so many other game out that are more or less the same price but have far more content, that's for sure. But you would also be paying for beautiful hand-drawn art and creative gameplay. The puzzles may not be the hardest, but they are unique and it's not about flexing how intelligent your brain is, but more about experiencing a work of art. (Including my old laptop specs, to show how little you need to play fluidling, without any lag.)
