a cute casual game. I recommend it. its sweet made.
My feelings when it comes to miniatures is mixed. This game is less of a game and more "interactive" art. I wanted to love this game but I feel it fell short as a game and would of been better suited as a collection of short animated films rather than a game. The CONS: Gameplay: There is basically no gameplay, it's truly not interactive as you would expect in a game. It feels like I am being sold the illusion of gameplay, when really its just a short animated story or point and click picture book not an actual point and click adventure. It really falls short as a game because of this. Length: The game is way too short. Having only 4 stories in such a short game is disappointing. It would have benefited from having more than 4 short stories, so the experience wouldn't have felt so empty. MIXED: Story: The stories are quite vague and left up to interpretation. I feel like one of the stories should have had more added to it as it was way too open ended. I enjoyed the message/feeling these stories tried to portray, even if I feel like they felt too short. PROS: Art: Honestly the art is the only thing that is solid about this game. The art/animations are animated film quality and extremely beautiful. For this reason I feel like the devs should have made this a short film rather than a game. It feels like they were too focused on making an art piece rather that a solid game experience.
4 маленькие истории, которые можно пройти за пол часа, но которые оставляют очень приятное и немного грустное послевкусие. если вы тоскуете по детству, эта игра определенно для вас <3
What a phenomental little treasure box. It's basically a set of interactive animations but that sells it shorts. The forms of interaction are varied--one akin to a single page of an Amanita game, another like a surreal point-n-click dream sequence. The art style is distinctive and beautiful. The sound design is evocative and immersive. The tone of each vignette is distinctive, yet they shared themes of family, home, memory, regret. It feels like a set of dreams an adult has about their youth. It only took me about 45 minutes to get through but I can see myself replaying the whole bunch. In fact, I had already played the demo which included two of the four vignettes. I can't recommend it enough
A truly lovely experimental anthology of short point and click stories. Don't come for a traditional game or vn, but for poetic experiences with gorgeous artwork, sound and music. The vibe is a meditative children's book for adults. Amazing. Wonderful work the devs did.
Minatures is a collection of four short "games" (point-and-click stories) that pull at some nostalgia strings in a way that's difficult to articulate. The stories all feature beautiful artwork and are of varying degrees of surrealness, but each is unique and interesting in its own way. I'm marking this worthwhile primarily due to the length (it says I finished it in 0.6 hours) and the fact that they're not really games. I'm personally glad I 'played' these games, but I also enjoy surreal storytelling and the occasional casual game. If you're not into that, then Miniatures likely won't change your mind. This was an incredibly bizarre experience, I'm very confused, 10/10 It's very short, took me less than an hour to play through fully, and the animation is simple and beautiful. It's more like an animated picture book than a normal game. If you have a few dollars to spare, I think it's absolutely worth the money
Bellissima avventura. I am enchanted while being present at this developing story. Deep rooted in the inner gears of our spirituality.
Poetry as a game. A very beautiful and worthwhile time.
