The game is AMAZING. It's calming but also adventurous. You do have trail and error screaming at you from time to time but the best way to learn is from your mistakes. Anyone who loves sci-fi games or just anything space related, this is for you. AD ASTRA PER ASPERA
Despite the PSA below, this is a compelling story and a great playthrough, well worth it none the less. PSA: Notice for those using ultrawide screens: The game doesn't have any way to adjust the FOV and thus will be unplayably "zoomed in" in full screen modes. As of now, this is only playable as a 1280*720 window. The "Community Fix" that someone has developed is unfortunately also being reported as malware by Windows Defender.
Good game, good graphics and story. Those who like interstellar or the atmosphere of loneliness in space - you can take. Gorgeous control during gravity, but not very pleasant walking on the surface (as if the character's legs slide on the ground), otherwise good. 8/10
классная игра.
It's not a bad game, but the current reviews say it's "very positive" and that's not fair for such a nothing burger of an experience. And I like the low challenge tour, but it made me really nostalgic for A Space Adventure. It's been so long I can't say off the top of my head if that's a better game - I just know that I often wished I was playing other walking sims. Actually it makes the sequel appealing to me. This entry just didn't land for me, but my opinions could be totally reversed with some targetted story and mechanical developments. The stupidity of the plot really killed the game for me in the last third, and I was already stretching my suspension of disbelief at the premise. God bless the voice actors who had to read that drivel and sound sincere. Ironically the final challenge was probably my favorite part, despite it probably being technically the most annoying mechanic of the game, but I was laughing too much to be pissed. So shout out to who ever designed that. It was perfect and I'm glad it happened only once. Otherwise, 7/10 setting - loved that there was a lot of territory to cover, though after hours of walking I really missed the fun of zero gravity at the start of the game 5/10 mechanics - bog standard routing and trigger based puzzles that are annoying if you don't catch the direction but brainless once you do - still better than nothing but walking though. Umm.. I can take or leave the robot control. It never really came across as a puzzle, but I guess the variety isn't bad. story - no. probably worse than if it was just an empty station to explore aimlessly. Like, sure: power station is down and needs recovering. That's fine. But the artificial stakes and forced emotional conflicts of supposedly intelligent professionals just rug pulled any potential grounding. 1/10 for no stunting on moon surface.
Bit shot and I'm still not sure as to the complete story without a clear ending. Enjoyed my play nonetheless.
