Gorogoa is an elegant evolution of the puzzle genre, told through a beautifully hand-drawn story designed and illustrated by Jason Roberts. Winner of Debut Game at the 2018 BAFTA Games Awards, as well as Best Mobile Game and the Innovation Award at the GDC 2018 Choice Awards.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 9.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

简直就是艺术品
It's awesome. I've quite struggled to finish some of the puzzle, but once I try to pay attention to the detail of the surrounding dessign I managed to finish it. Money well spent.
So Pretty :)
很惊艳的美术表现和解密思路,但感觉有点太短了......还没怎么玩够呢就结束了
8/10 Gorogoa had been sitting on my "to play" list for quite a while, and waited for me patiently. then someday, i decided to give it a try. at first, it looks like a very simple game, maybe even just a puzzle game with pretty drawings. but once you start playing, you begin to see what it is actually about. the game gives you a few panels that you can move around, stack on top of each other, place inside one another, or separate. tou might think, "okay... how are they going to make a puzzle out of this?" Well, they do. and they do it surprisingly well. :) a door can open inside another picture, and a path can continue through a completely different image. two scenes that seem to have absolutely nothing to do with each other can suddenly turn out to be connected. most of the time, the solution isn't about finding a new item, but about looking at what you already have from a different perspective. that's probably my favorite thing about the game. sometimes you finally solve a puzzle and think, "wait, that's it? how did I not see that?"... the game doesn't throw completely random tasks at you and tell you to try everything until something works. there is logic behind it; you just have to notice that logic within the image. the artwork is also genuinely beautiful. the whole game feels like a collection of hand-drawn illustrations, but what's even better is that many of the little details aren't there just for decoration. you might look at something and think, "that's a nice detail," only to realize later that it was actually part of the puzzle. :) as for the story, the game doesn't really explain much. we follow a child through different stages of his life, and instead of directly telling us what is happening, the game expects us to understand most of it through the visuals. so don't expect a story book that lays everything out clearly. you have to fill in some of the gaps yourself. i'd say the puzzles are generally around medium difficulty. it's not the kind of game where you will be staring at the same puzzle for hours, and it's not particularly long either; you can finish it in a few hours. but i don't think the short length is a major problem here. the game says what it wants to say without dragging things out unnecessarily. long story short, Gorogoa is a little more than just a "puzzle game with pretty drawings." what it really does is teach you to look at the same thing in different ways. realizing that things which seem completely unrelated can actually be connected to each other is a surprisingly satisfying experience. definitely worth a try if you enjoy puzzle games. especially if you're looking for something a little different from the usual "find an item and use it somewhere else" formula. also consider: if you liked Gorogoa, you might also enjoy The Gardens Between, Monument Valley, and Machinarium.
