Do you think blood and entrails are edgy and cool? If so, you're in the right place! This game reminds me of almost every Newgrounds flash horror game that would show up in the weekly top charts back in 2003. It's spoopy to the young ones perhaps, but kind of meandering and generic for my taste. The art and music is decent, but the perspective gets wonky with how the environmental items are drawn. Chop the meat, but you are also hunted by the monster so... I don't know. The music and visuals are fine, but the gameplay is just dull. It's a game for like 5 minutes, or until you manage to die, after that I don't feel like playing it anymore.

Tags: Casual - Twitch & Arcade Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Game's pixelart is not half bad and the concept gets familiar quick however this has too many issues and leaves the potential unrealized Oustanding Issues: -Xbox360 pad not working, game does not use mouse inputs. Instructions are for WASD but the game uses directional arrows only. -Game did not fullscreen correctly and left sidebars. The minimap is not visual enough to know where you are going and you just have to kind of learn where things are respective to each other mentally. -The cat and mouse mechanic with the insta-death on touch monsters should be introduced if you try to take two carcasses at once, with the more carcasses at once bringing more monsters or faster monsters. This way people could intuitively try to get a shortcut in progress at more risk but would remain optional for the more casual or grindy minded. -This is a very simple game but because of lack of directions past getting the carcass you end up with an unnecessary learning curve Positives: -Surprisingly atmospheric -Game looks and feels half decent and the layout of the workbenches with each other have a flow to them that works once you are used to them -The idea to process meat and stock the display along with the ambiant music, limited field of vision, and overall vibe of the game worked great
