I don't understand how this game has so many good reviews. -The jump is too quick and uncontrollable. -The fox shoots a blue ball that makes no sense. -Some enemies are damaged by the shot, others are only damaged by jumping, which makes the game very inconsistent. -Inconsistent enemy hitboxes. -The levels are all basically the same, just go through the screen and try to not die. Even for younger players it's awful because they can't control the jumping correctly and the enemies make no sense.

While the levels are nice and pretty, they are very repetitive. They lack features that makes each level unique. The game could use some polishing and there are some glitches. The game takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from GamesForGames/Defender Defender.

And uh... yeah, this is exactly why I've been avoiding them. This is someone's Unity test project. There are about 10 levels only, each lasting less than a minute. No sound effects. No special effects at all. Two level styles only, each with a 30-second music loop. Game resolution is a weird small square, almost like a phone screen, so you can hardly see the landscape coming up. Jumping physics are some of the worst I've ever seen. You rocket straight into the air, then practically straight back down. There are some obvious bugs that show that no game testing has been done. Taking damage from an enemy at the same time as jumping will launch you into the sky. Also, most enemies damage you when you stomp on them. All the assets are in different resolutions. Some are blurry, others are sharp and pixelated. Most interesting part of this game is the price. At the time of writing, the non-sale price for this game is $24.99. This reminds me of a famous Steam game scam. Imagine someone going to a shady website to buy a game key on the black market, and they see an offer like "Buy a mystery key for $10, for a game valued over $20!" and then it turns out to be this game. I fully expect to see this delisted from Steam sometime in the future, as has happened with similar studios peddling dozens of "games" like this. 1.5 / 10. I think I'm done with SunnyLand games for the near future.
