Good Goods Inc. shows the beginning of a great logistics game. Unfortunately, that's all it shows.
Here's the problem with Good Goods Inc.: If you like this game, you are doomed to eventually dislike this game. There's no efficient process for transferring goods between vehicles at all, and no way to easily check prices of different goods. This means that you'll want to grow your company, but the UI won't let you. You have 30 items loaded on an airplane that need to get to the spot right next to your airport? Guess what, you need to click the "drop" button on the airplane 30 times, and then manually load it into delivery vans. If the process of buying, transferring and transporting goods could be automated, and the formula for buying/selling prices of goods could be improved, this would make a top-tier game. Managing a global network of transport by land, sea and air sounds great. Instead, it's a game of constant frustration where your path to real growth is obstructed by the UI and controls. Not recommended.
And another disappointing half-backed proof of concept instead of a game by Sokpop. Which is probably shouldn't be surprising considering the way they are operating (a game released every two weeks). But it gets sad when you see more and more of them underdeveloped games. Time and time again: cute lo-fi esthetics, simple casual gameplay... but almost no progression, extremely lacking (almost non-existent) ui, lacking basic functionality, a bunch of bugs that don't get fixes, and on top of that a ridiculous achievement (one extremely grindy in this case). It's just a bit of nice idea and then a lot of wasted potential. When you pursue the quantity, it's not gonna get transformed into quality by itself.

Well. I exploited this heavily to finish. Luckily bugs were never patched, and some of those were quite useful. But as it stands, and as it will very likely always stand, this is a sokpop game I cannot recommend. This is a total shame, as the game shows some great potential. Issues: Infinite vans. Let's me finish, but not ideal. Prices never fluctuate, meaning you will lose profit quickly all over the world. And then you will never be able to make a profit ever again. Controls are cumbersome. Clicking many times to do one action. Trying to click a van, but getting a city, warehouse, etc. Time and money still change in the pause menu. Game is very slow. And where it's basically entirely manual, that sort of makes sense. Until you are flying over the Atlantic to go get water because all of Europe Africa and Asia is at 4k prices. Some weird bugs where the UI disappears and you need to restart as you cannot actually do anything. If you want something to do for a half hour, this could be for you! But there are better games out there.
Fun idea, but the UI is too frustrating to be enjoyable.
The main issue with this game is that the price of products dont' seem to normalize overtime. You'r constantly raising the prices until things are basicially unprofitable and you have to go further and further out to maintain not just profit margin but any profit at all. What happens when all the products are too expensive? I dont' know to be honest, I'm not about to stick around and find out.
its fun, its relaxing, but it has no options menu. that means you cant turn the music off. i would love the game if only i didnt have to mute my computer
I wanted to give this one a chance, couldn't stand more than five minutes. The interfaces and controls are horrible. I have no idea about the progression, cause this thing is almost unplayable.
Meh-- It pains me to write it this way. I really enjoy logistics games. I want to like this game. I mean... it's only a few dollars. It looks like a neat, nice game. It's cute. Yea. There's a neat logistics idea there... but the thing is... if you want to like the game, because it has the potential to be a good game, it will be so much more frustrating than other logistics games. And so, for the "don't get this because if you like it, you'll be very frustrated by it" my review is summarized as "don't get it." I really wish I could enjoy the game more. Spoiler: There is no automation
Played through with a show on the 2nd screen - fun and engaging logistics game, worth the money and the time.
Annoyingly repetitive, no way of automation, why play it if you can stare at a wall and have more fun than this game? dont buy it, its bad.
