Devs made community mad, went back and changed it. If you own base game, you get the definitive addition for 90% off. Thank you Code Horizon for listening to your community. also, for real this is a fun game. Sure it misses stuff I'd love, mainly multiplayer - but, over 120.7 hours (and counting) I have found that mining the peaceful hills in Alaska alone, drinking a hot cup of tea, and digging up as much up that beautiful yellow stuff as possible hits for the days when my social battery is drained. Finally... for real, these devs listened, and I know they got a bit of a review bomb from that update, but course has been corrected, they deserve the support.
The game is great and I've been playing it on and off for years, but is very dated as simulators go. It was started by a different team, then development stopped for a few years before being picked up by a new company and the current team. This team made the three newer DLCs, none of which I have picked up, as it simply wasn't worth it for me. The new dev team wanted to bring this game into the current age - things like revamping the map, and removing the loading screens between areas (something which should've been done long ago). Now, the dev team wants to have everyone buy the new update, a definitive edition, but will only give the "loyalty" discount to those who have all the DLCs. I get the definitive edition includes the DLCs and they're redoing the map in a new engine, but having played since before the current company owned the game, I simply don't like the new team forcing us to buy everything to make their company happy.

Janky and not worth it
What bad people you are. Why can’t I get out of the paid mini loader with the drill when the boom is lowered? And I can’t raise the boom. I ran out of gas, and the fuel pump immediately broke down. I lost all the progress I’d made. I kindly ask you to fix this.

Tutorial bug is a pain. I cannot be bothered start again and they will not fix it. Will never buy any of your games again. Including 2.
Есть ломающий игру баг. После определенного момента начинает регулярно ломаться кнопка E (в определенных локациях пропадает возможность взаимодействия с интерактивными элементами). Куплены все DLC кроме Collectors. Очередная серия поломок началась после покупки фулл т3, самосвала и начала копания огромным экскаватором с доочисткой остатков фронтальным погрузчиком. Что НЕ помогло: переключение на английский интерфейс, продажа всего лишнего неподключенного оборудования (кроме ведер), перейти в другую часть локации сохранить в отдельный слот и загрузить, удаление и повторное скачивание игры, отказ от использования alt+tab. Откат на предыдущий еще целый сейв помогает ненадолго. Ощущение, что игра ломается в определенное время во втором сезоне за 3 дня до лета. И, кажется, что в первый раз когда играл - забросил игру по той же причине.
There are bugs.... but it's playable and there are many options how you can mine your gold. Many machines (although you need DLC)
