Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After playing the first Godbeast game, I was surprised to see a level based approach here, so no more getting lost! There are some neat elements in MKII, like having to kill the enemies at the same time (you stun them and have to deal the finishing blow while the others are still stunned) and that made for some exciting prioritizing. The visual style still looks unique, reminiscent of Suda51's Killer7 and there are some nice winks and nudges to local folklore that I could appreciate. Will be back to update this review later when I've played more. EDIT: played some more and really appreciate the combat, especially with a controller (I was struggling with Mouse + Keyboard)
Godbeast Mk.II is a very interesting game. It's not very polished - in combat, the rigid camera can cause issues as enemies or props block the player from view, the UI navigation is very clunky, and there's no way to remap buttons which makes using a gamepad basically a no-go for me. That said, there's a lot of really cool stuff here, and it's absolutely worth a try if you like stylish games and fast-paced combat. The round-based combat system encourages clean, aggressive play - there's a mounting tension as you stun enemies one by one, trying to take them all down before the first one reawakens, and then sudden relief as the camera cuts to them one by one and they explode into health and energy pickups. The game has a surprising amount of enemy variety, as well as a huge number of bosses for an indie game. I'm not finished with it yet, but there are at least four minibosses and at least four main bosses. Each of the main bosses has a weird and cool design, and their fights can get decently hard - I got stuck for a while at the Bishop, whose summon attacks and teleporting gave me a ton of grief. I don't think this game is for everybody, but it's got enough cool stuff in it that I think it deserves much more attention than it currently has. Give it a try - you might like it!

This game is a difficult to recommend because its nearly good. And only one thing is stopping me from fully enjoying this game. Its the Camera, the camera is fixed perspective and a lot of the time the camera angles are not good and I end up being lost behind an enemy and cant see attacks. Its a hack and slash where you jump over and dodge attacks and when you time them right you are powered up. The artstyle is great, the sound design is serviceable and so is the gameplay. I will comment more on the story once I have finished. But if you love Suda51 or really weird aesthetic indie games that have a bunch of potential and want to support one, this is it. I fully love what they're doing I just hope that in future they will consider the Camera a bit more.
I do miss driving around the city like in the original Godbeast but also appreciate the more focused direction the game has now. Looks and plays great on the Steam Deck too!
A fun, short beat em up style game that has an unfortunate fixed camera problem, but also improves on their previous games. During some fights enemies can get lost behind other enemies and sometimes the camera seems to fight you so you can not see what's going on. I've not played the previous game so I can't comment on that game, but this devs first game Malebolgia was also great, but had one big problem: It was so easy to get lost, environments were very samey and it was incredibly dark. Thankfully the dev opted to go for a linear approach with this game. Instead of being one big open world everything is divided into stages and it's made the game very enjoyable. I'll take a kinda bad camera over getting lost every few minutes. Also, I'm unsure if it was a big bug or intended, but the stages don't always seem to present themselves in order. I went from 1-2 to 1-4. 1-3 to 3-4 and so on. Not really a huge issue and didn't seem to get in the way of understanding the story but I found it a little odd.
«Godbeast Mk.II»
Well, this game was an experience. The Good: - Interesting story and characters - Atmosphere and art are great - The concept is not bad The Bad: - The camera angles Ex. There's a specific boss in the game that you are essentially fighting the camera more than the boss and it is absolutely aggravating. - Some of the boss fights are lackluster and mechanically could use work Overall: This isn't a bad game at all for what it is. It doesn't sell itself as anything fancy and is very much a homage to Suda51 games. The biggest obstacle is how often the camera, in certain areas will get you killed, I hope they eventually patch a few things so that it flows more fluidly. As an independent indie title, I don't have any massive complaints.
I do feel that the charm of the first game is lost with the removal of the open world. As it stands, I thought the game was... all right. Stylish, but clearly janky, and not terribly interesting in any regard. Still, I'd recommend giving it a shot if it looks neat :)

If games were deemed good or bad simply based on if its literally the coolest ♥♥♥♥ ever, then Godbeast Mk. II : Howl in the Moonlight is one of the greats. Unfortunately there's more to a game than aurafarming, and The Godbeast 2 is not one of the greats. I'd still recommend it to anyone since it's cheap and there's decent playtime to get out of it, but there is quite a bit of jank and the opening levels are pretty dry, just punch the guys until they die for a good couple hours. It only really starts to catch the player after you beat the first area and the story begins to unfold. The game keeps a 360/ps3 era hack n slash formula throughout, but has some fun little abilities and mechanics to discover. Some of the bosses have fun attack patterns, and the game is in that goldilocks zone of just punishing enough where it can really throw some curveballs at you to keep you on your toes in a fight without boiling down to being unscripted QTE's. The art direction of the game is the star of course, every battle is framed from dramatic angles and the game leans into a fixed camera perspective, yet never commits to a degree where angles would interrupt the flow of movement. There's a lot of weird decisions the game makes, there's an optional boss that boosts your health, and I don't know if its intentional but you can just keep fighting him until your health bar runs past the edge of the screen and presumably continues to grow. The level's are unlocked in a non-linear fashion, yet aren't anachronous to the point where you could say the game is straight point A to point B and I'd believe you. The little secret goon you can find in every non-boss level most the time has nothing of value to say, most the secret messages are very methodically explaining mechanics that you learn in the beginning of the game when its explaining the controls to you. But the game looks REALly cool.
