About
From Santa Monica Studio and brought to PC in partnership with Jetpack Interactive comes God of War Ragnarök, an epic and heartfelt journey that follows Kratos and Atreus as they struggle with holding on and letting go.
The sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök picks up with Fimbulwinter well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Odin’s forces in Asgard prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way, they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus must choose between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms.
Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.
The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. Kratos’ deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he battles gods and monsters across Nine Realms to protect his family.
Journey through dangerous and stunning landscapes as Kratos and Atreus search for answers.

Game tries so hard to be innovative that it's boring. Cutscenes, story and allat is amazing, just watch someone like Jacksepticeye play it Forcing stupid ♥♥♥♥ like ''hey this enemy teleports away from you every 5 attacks, shoot an arrow to then be able to do another 5 attacks'' and then repeat that until it dies is soooooo fun As my goat Peter Griffin said: ''It insists upon itself'' You did cool ♥♥♥♥ with the ''no cuts'' gameplay to cutscene transitions, but now you're just trying too hard to be unique, making sloppy combat that is not smooth at all
(Spoilers for settings of some of the missions) This game is great and I would definitely recommend it but it has a LOT of problems. 1. This is a big one, the UI and UX in this game is absolutely abhorrent, especially when playing with a keyboard, for example: in the pc port for GOW 2018, you had M for Map, J for Journal, etc. In Ragnarok they're all bound to I which would be annoying but manageable if i was able to navigate these menus at all. They are confusing and poorly laid out. You also don't have an inventory tab to view the resources you've collected, and in my case I have no bloody clue how many Gale Sparks I have, so I have no idea how close I am to my last spear upgrade. 2. The Atreus missions are for the most part good but WAYYY too long for them to be completely linear, if you were able to explore a bit as atreus these areas wouldn't be such a slog, this especially goes for the 2 hour long mission with Angrboda in Jotunheim, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was torture. 3. Please for the love of god can freya just stop talking. Freya in main story missions and dialogue is EXCELLENT, and she is probably my favourite character outside of Kratos, but after the main story is done she goes into this Oblivion style; Hmmm, I wonder whats over there, and her voice actress is clearly not enjoying these unnecessary lines so they come out in the exact same tone as "I heard the thieves guild broke into the Arcane University, the Imperial Legion Compound and the temple All on the same night!" if you know what line im referencing. overall this is a fantastic game with an excellent story that kept me glued to my PC until I finished it, with some major improvements on combat and traversal, especially in terms of enemy variety, I only saw one of the original trolls from GOW 2018 which were kind of a running gag in that game lmao. Point is, pick this game up and you won't regret it but you might groan once or twice, which is worth the price in my opinion.

BUCUO
A great sequel to the 2018 game. Love the combat system, the puzzles, and the exploration of the different realms.
