About
You’ve landed the dream job - mayor of a picturesque town rife with potential. Congrats! The spec promised rolling hills & friendly locals. What it didn’t mention was that the place is a total fixer upper.
So, roll up your sleeves and take charge as a hands-on mayor on the go. Plan neighbourhoods, place buildings and transport routes, welcome visitors, and turn them into happy, productive residents.
Watch your town grow and blossom, then keep it running when things get busy, messy, or go wonderfully sideways.
Lay down your streets, then place businesses, homes, and services where they’ll thrive. Welcome tourists, keep them happy, and give them plenty of reasons to stick around and make your town their home. Hire workers, keep shops stocked, and make sure the money keeps flowing, then upgrade, expand, and unlock new ways to help your town flourish.
Tailor each business, industry zone and building configuration to suit your wants and needs. Assign workers, optimise supply chains, set-up logistics networks and watch your systems go from strength to strength. Will you let automation do the heavy lifting, or will you be the Mayor of Micromanagement?
As mayor, you deserve the perfect place to call home. Dive into immersive house customisation with full 360° placement and a handy colour picker, so every corner looks exactly the way you want it. Need a new look while you work? Step into the Change-O-Tron. Your mayor. Your style. Trinicorncycle optional (but encouraged).
Play solo for ultimate control over your town, making every inch exactly to your liking, or team-up with up to four mayors in online co-op, mixing local and online play for just the right amount of teamwork and chaos. Chat, emote, and ping your location to rally help when things get busy. Just don’t spend all your time running each other over.

just simple and fun
Idk why, but this game feels incredibly overlooked. I loved the old MySims game on the Wii and this game recaptures some of that along with a lot of the best aspects of cozy gaming like Animal Crossing and Stardew. You won't hate this game. My biggest gripe is honestly a lack of combat to add an additional type of loop in the game. However, even without combat, the game itself offers plenty of entertaining things to do and the ability to do them with relative ease and comfort - the hallmark of a good cozy game. Truly, try this game.
This is a preliminary review now that I’m 9 hours in, but gang. I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to keep me from heavily recommending this game. This isn’t an Animal Crossing clone. It uses similar aesthetics to pull you into one of the most addictive and satisfying town management games I’ve ever played. There’s always something to build, upgrade, and unlock just around the corner. That rapid pace keeps you going, burning through hours of your day. The game also gets out of your way a lot of the time, and reduces the tedium of things like farming by simplifying it down to just watering a plot of land that you’ve designated to have a specific seed on it at all times. Don’t like where a building is once you’ve built it? You can move anything at any time without limitations or disruptions to the way you’ve set everything up. There’s a lot to discover, too. The game also runs exceptionally well on my Steam Deck OLED.
Awesome game 🥰
Go-Go Town! feels like it was made specifically for my brain!!!! As someone who loves task management, organization, collecting resources, and town-building games, this was an absolute dream to play!! I constantly found myself saying, "Just one more thing," only to realize hours had disappeared. It's the kind of game that completely absorbs your attention without you even noticing. One of my favorite parts was the sense of discovery. I kept wandering off to explore, finding new resources, mechanics, and areas that expanded the world in unexpected ways. At first, I thought I was getting distracted from my tasks, but then I realized that exploration is exactly what the game wants you to do. Every detour felt rewarding and meaningful, making the world feel alive and full of surprises. The visual style is absolutely charming. The animations are full of personality, and every part of the town feels vibrant and inviting. Combined with the soundtrack, which perfectly matches the game's cozy and upbeat atmosphere, it creates an experience that's incredibly easy to get lost in!!! What really stands out is how satisfying everything feels. Building up your town, improving efficiency, unlocking new features, and watching everything come together scratches that itch for organization and progression in the best possible way. I've already had an amazing time playing solo, and I honestly can't wait to jump back in with friends. I can already tell this is going to be one of those games that's even more chaotic and fun in co-op. If you enjoy town builders, management games, exploration, and the satisfaction of turning a small community into a thriving destination, Go-Go Town! is an easy recommendation. A cozy, addictive, and delightfully charming game that constantly rewards curiosity and creativity.
Really wonderful happy charming playful (what else are positive words here?) game! Starts being a hustle (more or less, you can't lose though so don't worry) but is so satisfying when after some time you automate all the annoying stuff. Really big recommendation!
Very fun little cozy town-building co-op game :)
best game ever there are glitches were workers will get stuck around homes but 10 out of 10
