Trapped in a dark, Victorian city consumed by an ancient curse, you must plan your survival and daring escape using nothing but stealth, an arsenal of eccentric weapons, and your wit in this haunting adventure inspired by the immersive sims and survival horror greats of the late 90s and early 2000s.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
Gloomwood is a stealth horror FPS that follows your mysterious abduction to a forgotten, twisted Victorian metropolis in the midst of a horrifying transformation. Wield your canesword and take to the shadows as you uncover the accursed mystery hidden within the fog.
The producers of DUSK, AMID EVIL, ULTRAKILL and FAITH bring you a frightening, gothic immersive sim full of haunted streets, dark tunnels and decadent mansions.
An intricate, hand-crafted city with freeform exploration - from towering rooftops down to hidden passages, the routes you take and paths you make, are your choice.
A detailed stealth and sound system that tracks your light visibility and propagates noise accurately through the world. Tread lightly. Or prepare to get loud.
A unique arsenal to meet any situation - a stealthy canesword, six-shot revolver, folding shotgun, hand-placed traps, rope-slinging harpoon rifle and more.
In-depth player interactivity, from leaning to eavesdrop, peeking through door cracks, checking the bullets in your firearms and mantling onto ledges.
A mob of ghastly denizens and monsters with acute senses, like the sharp-clawed Crowmen and the fearsome, cadaver-seeking Corpse Duster.
Gloomwood is full of objects to pick up, throw, climb, smash and use to your advantage.
There is more to this city than you can possibly imagine...

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Jul 26 → 4.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its basically a mix of resident evil 2 dishonored and thief, the content that is available so far is incredible the guns feel good to use and the level design has that resident evil feel where it loops back onto itself making exploration very satisfying.
This is basically just a live service game given the dog's age this thing has been in early-access. And for what? They're pushing out an update for a new shop in the market! Wow! That's almost a quarter of the levels in Thief 1 Golden! Why'd they have to do this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with Thief, man? People have been salivating for something that tastes similar to Thief for years, (Thief 3 was 2004) and they decide to release their spiritual successor piecemeal over the span of years. And another thing, the Bloodborne aesthetic was already played out in 2020 when the game was announced. Bloodborne was 11 years ago people. Let's do better than big guys with antlers, okay? Go play the Thief 1 overhaul mod, The Black Parade instead. I'll change this review in 8 years when the game is fully out and I venture to touch it again.
Really fun game! Tried it multiple times before but would always stop playing after
the goatman encounter
. This time made sure to play till the latest update. Truly a very very detailed game and it's amazing to see the progress so far + how the game changed over the years. Now that it finally has controller update, will definetely revisit again soon on the steam deck. Overall I think this game is very fun, detailed and has something for everyone - if you want to play it like a ghost you can, if you want to go all out guns ablazing you can, if you want to play stealth-style you absolutely can! If you like games like Dishonoured or Thief or Bioshock then you'll definetely like this game. Just some feedback for the devs, don't read if you don't want to know too much:
- Love the game so far, but just think there a can be a seperate inventory to carry the treasure loot as for a good starting section of the game it was kinda useless to carry all that loot. It could be similar to RE4 maybe. - I love the research update, but I felt it was too tedious and time consuming to collect all the ingredients. - I think the overall economy could be better as well - like offering better/unique equipment at the merchant as most of the things you can buy at the shop can be easily found throughout the world - so the reward for collecting all that loot wasn't worth it too much.
I stole all of the Lord Kar's baked beans and I ate them in my GLOOMY lighthouse... And would do that again... Waiting for more levels. My Capra Serum'd belly crave more beans...
This game feels like if Thief and Amnesia: Machine for Pigs had a kid. It would be a really really good game if there was no Hive level. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you can't image it. You won't have enough ammo to kill all the monsters there. If you make one sound, all of them will sprint to your location and kill you. And you won't be able to use your lamp in many dark areas because those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will spot you and kill you within 5 seconds. I love stealth games but this is too much even for me. The Hive and Underport levels are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing you will get lost at least 20 times. Apart from that it is a pretty good game. I love the fact that you can skip huge amounts of levels just by thinking. I often found myself backtracking because I found another entrance or solved something just to skip a huge part of the level. I think this makes it highly replayable. If you think there is no way to get progress without a fight, you are wrong. There are always AT LEAST 2-3 paths you can choose. So just think, explore and have fun. EDIT: After multiple playthroughs you will be able to manoeuver Underport quite easily, especially when you find some skips but that doesn't change the fact that it's a bad level (but still not as bad as Hive). I found why these levels are so bad. They are extremely linear. Let's take Underport as an example: Progress trough some rooms (many are skippable)>turn off the power>backtrack to the storage>open the safe and get the crank>get to the Hive hole. Now compare it to the fishery or mines: just get from point A to point B however you want, if you choose to go for the shortest route you miss good loot in favor of time saved, which might be good for more experienced players/speedrunners. I am aware of the Hive "skip", but then you would miss the harpoon, which is extremely important in Hightown level (especially if you want to be fast and stealthy, which is something a more experienced player would need). You could spend some more time in the Hive to retrieve it but at that point, you might as well just finish the level as intended. I rate all the levels like this: The Fishery: 10/10 - you can do anything you want however you want The Caves: 8/10 - not as many options, however still almost entirely skippable (please don't fix, this doesn't affect new/inexperienced players) The Coastal Cliffs (part 1): 7/10 - a lot of skips with the flare gun, not as linear Slaughtered Goat: 8/10 - extremely good bossfight, if you use your brain, it's easy + a lot of loot, skippable if you want The Coastal Cliffs (part 2): 6/10 - pretty much just 1 route, hard to sneak around (not difficult, but its pain in the ass) City gates: 5/10 - you can skip it if you have the valve. However if you didn't bring it, it's not that easy and quite linear Market district: 8/10 - a lot of skips, good loot, finally something refreshing compared to previous levels Underport: 4/10 - once you know the skips it's not that bad but it still takes a long time, very little loot The Hive: 2/10 - not 1/10 just because of the possible "skip" (look it up on YouTube), not fun, can't see anything, I feel like I'm in a cage, takes too much time, little to none skips except that one, linear as ♥♥♥♥. Hightown: 8/10 - finally some fun again, however if you didn't bring the harpoon you may be forced to some fights/non-favorable routes but if you have the harpoon it's perfect. If the Dev reads this, please, do something with the Hive level. Thanks
Genuinely the most interesting game I have ever played, the story is something you have to actually pay attention to figure out and just the overall vibe of the game is what makes it one of my favorites. I've been telling literally everyone I know about this game to try and get ore people to pay and get it the attention it deserves
