I love this game!!! The maps and setting are so atmospheric, weird, and creepy, but also very beautiful. The mechanics are straightforward and easy to intuit (and described well whenever they come up), but still challenging enough that a bad-reflexes-no-jumpscares gamer like me really appreciates the various difficulty settings and accommodations. I love how many hidden details and jokes are scattered throughout the game. The pro-community message is thoughtfully delivered and mechanically rewards kindness. I love this game a lot, and I can see myself coming back to play many times even after I've discovered all the secrets :-)
A great horror stealth game with a nice retro style. The atmosphere is fantastic and it's fun to explore the weird, imaginative places, finding secrets and opening shortcuts. The stealth mechanics work well. I like how the enemies visually show if they're alerted with their eyes and their ears twitching. You have a good variety of different weapons and items to utilize, which all have multiple uses. One item could be used for either stunning enemies when thrown at them, cushioning the ground when dropped, or breath underwater when used on yourself. Another item could have different types of attacks. There are a few environmental hazards you can use to your advantage as well. I also liked how the hidden characters you help will then help you in some way afterward. As a fan of games like Thief and Gloomwood, I loved it!
This is probably the best game I've played from 2025. It's Lynch meets Thief, spectacularly so. It's just so incredibly weird, mysterious and wonderful. A thoughtful imsim (different surfaces = different footsteps!) set in an alien world inhabited by murderous rabbitmen, with some amazing skyboxes, textures & models with just enough fidelity to let your imagination go wild, and secrets galore. Ignore the play time, it's just steam being ♥♥♥♥♥ - I got all the cubes and beat the game using the [REDACTED].
