Very fun, but the dev team has a hard time fixing game-breaking bugs or adding new content that feels polished upon release. Features like bag collision were removed to fix bag spinning but never got fully re-implemented, which I've noticed is a pattern with them, doing what is easy to fix something, not actually doing anything about the core problem. In the current landscape, getting gear is too easy. Things like folding armor and backpacks, or putting guns on every bag, allowed players to get too much loot and has inflated the entire in-game economy. On top of that, the sheer amount of junk items completely overcomplicates the game, and the item rarity system has no real control over spawning behavior. A wire spool is listed as uncommon but is rarer than items marked "impossible to find". The game was considered at its prime when the island wasn't dark and gloomy. Devs have talked about fixing this but haven't actually done anything about it, which is frustrating given how much it affects the overall feel of the map. Progression is also too quick right now, which undercuts a lot of the loot and economy issues above there's no real sense of earning anything. I still think this game can become good like it once was, but the devs have some work to do.

I get it it's another extraction shooter but honestly the enemies they're not strong which is good bosses are ridiculously powerful for no reason and I'm just gonna say I am a bad shot I know finding rare stuff is not that easy I'm just going to say honest review is a 5 out of 10 of everything in this game and I don't really play this anymore because my friends and the people I used to love with no longer play this with me so I will no longer play this because of that and because this game is now becoming another Call of Duty with these skins this is ridiculous 0 out of 10 on the skins I hate them remove them out of the game please it would be the best decision you ever made
Ditch the Kernel Anticheats Let us play on Linux
Worst version I've played thus far. The standalone version on Oculus 2 through Meta is already kind of rough. It looks like a 360p video and it struggles with more than 30 objects in the world at the same time, which is detrimental to a looter-shooter, your objects will de-spawn randomly. I tried the accompanying PCVR version through Meta as well, and it performs OK since it uses my PC for the heavy lifting it comes close to a 1080p feel, but with some graphical shortcuts. BUT THIS STEAM VERSION LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SMEARED PETROLEUM JELLY ON YOUR EYEBALLS!! I understand it is still "early access" but the current state of the game is unacceptable. Oh, and you can't login using your credentials, so you have to start over from zero if you switch platforms. They haven't figured out a login system it seems?
Honest Review, Janky gun physics, corny, ugly graphics. Overall, way better vr options
The game is good but rlly rlly hard to learn
pve needs work ai is too boring to fight and they dont drop much to loot, on vive it is so damn dark, takes waaaaay to long to get a safe box to carry things like key cards or flares, homebase is fun but constant glitches there like resetting poistions or disapearing loot crates makes it annoying, looting seems very repeative without many unique items and gun customizations feels pointless most of the time.
In the current state, this game is an absolute mess Here is a list of issues I've experienced; Shading Issues, black strings stretching across my screen Terrible lighting, unable to even see the Safety Switch on most guns Footsteps and audio have no concern for walls or distance. Including THAT GOD DARN CAT. Enemies have hyper-focused aim, and is nearly impossible to get away from if in swarms The lobby is all over the place, and feels like a maze. A new player easily gets lost and confused by it. Items and equipables glitch through the floor commonly when dropped, caused me to go into my first mission without a backpack. Its not told that you lose items on death anywhere in the lobby or tutorial. I had lost almost all my gear because of this. The tutorial is over the top, and is unneeded. It should only cover the basics. Additional tutorials/notes should be included for weapons that require it, when unlocked or after the tutorial. This game COULD be amazing, but holy sh1t. Its actually insane how many issues I've experienced in under 2 hours. I'd refund this game, but it was a gift. I feel bad for the friend that got me it, wishing for us to have a fun time. - Posted 17/01/2026, 5:24 PM CST
