Ghostrunner offers a unique single-player experience: fast-paced, violent combat, and an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

6/10
"My name is Jack." -John Ghostrunner before ghostrunning all over the place This game narrowly avoided a negative review but it's by no means terrible. Length:7-8 hours (for a first time playthrough) ------------
GAMEPLAY
7/10 The gameplay heavily reminds me of Hotline Miami. You and the enemies both die in 1 hit and the gameplay is a lot of trial and error of finding the right route through an arena to take out all the enemies before they can take you out. This is good. I had fun actually playing the game. Keep this in mind when I start listing off all the negative things about this game. It's still fun. There are also upgrades you get as you progress, however you can't have all upgrades equipped at once which allows you to customize how you play the game to some degree. Are you good at parrying? Make the parry window bigger and give bigger rewards for parrying. Do you like a particular ability? Make it stronger. There is one issue though... The upgrades aren't perfectly balanced and some of them are wayyy better than other ones, which hurts the variety of builds you can make with these upgrades. Outside of the main gameplay loop there are the Cybervoid segments in the main campaign. These take you out of the regular gameplay loop of going from arena to arena with platforming segments inbetween and put you into tedious puzzle segments that feel really out of place. Some of these Cybervoid segments are placed right in the middle of missions and there is no way to skip them on replays which really hurts the flow and fun of the game. These are the main reason why I didn't give a better score in this category.
VISUALS, SOUND & MUSIC
Visuals: 6/10 Sound and Music: 5/10 The visuals are good it looks like... well like what you would expect from a modern unreal engine game. Aesthetically though most areas weren't that interesting in my opinion... The earlier parts take place in the slum areas of Dharma Tower so to say and it's unfortunately a very boring place to look at. The maps aren't very distinct and it's a lot of grey concrete and metal structures. Overall this game looks somewhat like a generic cyberpunk game, especially once you get to Dharma itself which is a city bustling with neon lights and digital billboards and what not. Though despite all of my complaints about the areas looking the same and being generic, it's not unpleasant on the eye which is why it still gets a 6 out of 10. I'm not particularly well versed when it comes to music and sound design for games but I found little issue with the sound design of the game. The soundtrack is good though personally it didn't stick out to me at all. I couldn't recall a single track from the OST after I beat the game. I give it a 5/10 because it did nothing wrong but it wasn't memorable for me at all. Take this rating with a grain of salt because personal bias plays a big role here.
STORY
3.5/10 There is quite a lot of story in this game and unfortunately a lot of it is told through dialogue. In fact you're going to hear someone talk to you non-stop for a lot of the game, even during combat and platforming sections. I'm already not a fan when a game tells it's story rather than showing it but Ghostrunner, on top of that, also tells you the story while you're focused on playing the game. What this usually leads to is that you either pay attention to the gameplay and you end up not really listening to what the characters are saying or you are paying attention to the story, which results in a worse gameplay experience as you're being distracted constantly. In addition to this flaw, Ghostrunner's story just... isn't that interesting. You get the gist of what the story is going to be about and how it's going to end pretty early on and there aren't many interesting plot points being brought up. You're a cyborg and your job is to kill the evil lady who took control of the Dharma Tower but then you find out that
the dude who created you is also evil so you kill him too

ACHIEVEMENTS
Difficulty: 2/5 Fun: 4/5 The achievements here are nothing crazy, few for progressing through the story, a few for getting all collectibles, a couple for doing specific things utilizing specific abilities... the usual. A few require you to beat an entire mission in a specific way and those provide a bit of replayability and challenge and I quite like those. If you want something to 100% without it being a cakewalk, while also not requiring tons of hours invested in the game, then this game is perfect for that.
BUGS
The game is pretty light on bugs and none of the ones I encountered got in the way of my fun that much. I think I did die because of a bug once but dying takes you out of the fun for not even a second so it's not a bid deal.
