Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Why the hell is this game not more popular? It's a legit 10 to me.
I bought this when it was on sale for 20 bucks. And for that price, it's perfect. I beat it 2 times within 5 hours. At times, it feels like it was created with a speed runner in mind. My opinions towards the game is a bit mixed, it's clear that it's a well made passion project. Ghost at Dawn follows PI Ben O'Hara, a WWII vet who has some strong PTSD and experienced racism (he is Irish Japanese), who has been contracted to find Yuhiko's sister, Emi. She was supposed to be a guest at Pines Hotel, but the entire place is boarded up. But it's just a simple hotel, right? Nope. It's haunted. Super haunted. And it'll take a ton of bullets to take them down. GAD (not to be confused with the acronym for Generalized Anxiety Disorder which I bet the developer was aware of when making the game) channels those old PS1 horror games rather well. The option for digital and analog control is there and greatly appreciated. Ben faces items of interest, so it's easy to find things most of the time. The puzzles are pretty basic as it's go to point A, find the item to go to point B and find the solution for point C. They don't really get more involved than that. And that's the same about the story: it's dark and fun. But it isn't the scariest game I've played. It's very direct and clear. Good horror takes its time to unfold and to settle into the imagination. Furthermore, one touch of the ghost and a life is lost (Ben gets 5 chances to solve the case), no matter how much health he has left. The instant kill drives me crazy and not in a good way. There's also these sanity elements, but I really didn't see the game play with it that much. I would have loved to have seen a lot more randomized moments. The 2 that I saw were memorable. The atmosphere is the selling point of the game. It's amazing! It sets the tone for the game. The ghost designs are great. The cel-shaded style shows off Ben's eyes in the dark. And it's creepy. And then there's text after beating bosses that gives it even more style. The one thing I really wish there was more of was the flavor text. There's a hidden character in the game and they share the same descriptions of things. The fonts are different, the texts are the same. It doesn't a good job of differentiating the characters. Audio is rather solid. It doesn't stand out much. However, the voice acting is really solid. It was a pleasant surprise to hear it. As previously stated, GAD is a solid choice especially if you can find it on sale. It has a clear vision and sticks to it that few indie games have. I can easily see why it was a player's choice for horror awards and 1 of the reasons why the reboot of Alone in the Dark got pushed back. I'm super excited about the sequel and I hope the rough parts get smoothed out and polished so it shines.

Honestly, I REALLY like this game. Great for RE and anime friends! Music is *chefs kiss* and the jump scares are 10/10. Do it, just do it. :3

This was much better than I thought it was going to be. Price might a weeee steep at 3 hours of gameplay, but the game overall was very fun. Stationary cameras, tank controls, semi-perma death... tons of nostalgia. Story was pretty good too. Nothing crazy but it felt like a well thought out executed story telling.
Honestly, I enjoyed this game more than I initially thought I would! It definitely sparked my interest in this type of horror genre! The music, the setting and the story are really well executed! Paired with the interesting choice in art style has made this game stand out! There's even multiple endings depending on how much you've discovered as the detective! It really makes it worth replaying and using your previous knowledge to get the best ending! The story might be a little intense for some as it deals with traumatic experiences but I think it was well done and does a good job of tackling it with out crossing the line but that's subjective so others may have a different opinion. The horror aspect isn't too crazy, whilst there were a couple spooky moments the game was more eerie than scary HOWEVER I won't pretend, it did get me a few times! I'm definitely looking forward to being psychologically scarred in the next installment! P.S My playtime is wrong I actually have about 4hrs idk why it says 67mins
