the game still works in 2026 but with 2 settings to adjust: · right-click properties -> compatibility -> windows 95 or windows 98/me · right-click properties -> compatibility -> reduced color mode -> 8-bit i've never played this series when i was younger but damn, it's entertainingly good with more strategy of which floor you select while minimizing flo's tasks without her getting confused and breaking the chain :p
Runs with no issues in story mode. I wish steams recommendations actually worked when it came to these games because i want to play more games from this era but its terribly hard to find
the screen was completely black whenever i opened the game :(
An old classic in the same genre as "Diner Dash," play as Flo, renovating and running hotels. The frantic pace to make sure all the customers are served is addictive, and very familiar for me. Hotel Dash wasn't my specific niche of Diner Dash games, but the gameplay is much the same as the other entries, and playing this was like a big dose of nostalgia. I adored racing through each level, trying to complete every single order to perfection. I ended up bingeing the entire story mode in one sitting (and ow, my hand is sore now XD). If you've never played, this game is the precursor to stuff like Order Up or Overcooked, and they're very good. I had to play in windowed mode for this particular entry, but for as old as the game is, to be quite honest I was just happy to play, and didn't mind too much. 10/10 for nostalgia score.
happy to report that it still works! the cursor just has a visual glitch that never goes away though, but i wouldn't say it really impacts the gameplay. so happy this is still available and that i got to play it again!!! healed my inner child
what happened to the rest of the levels that you use to play on the mobile app. if i'm going to pay for it, why not have all the levels. It was like a 100 levels instead of 50 levels. but other than that, it's a great throwback
Such a childhood game! Thank you for having it! PS: Do not play it on full screen - it doesn't work well, Only windowed works
The cursor is a bit laggy but its functional. I only experienced a bit of lag at the last hotel but this game is still perfect to me. So glad to be playing again after all these years!
I absolutely love this game! It took me about 6 hours to play through, and I managed to get gold on most levels, though not all. Everything worked perfectly for me! I should mention that I played in windowed mode instead of full screen. Whenever I try full screen with these types of games, they tend to crash a lot, but I had no issues at all using windowed mode. It's just like I remember, and being able to play it again as an adult is such a delightful experience!
Old School Management Throwback!
The Positive's + Old School Management Game + 50 Levels & Endless Mode + Soothing Soundtrack The Negative's - Horrible Optimization - Repetitive Gameplay The Aspect Of The Game You play as Flo from the management game Diner Dash and her friend Quinn from the other management game known as Wedding Dash and come together to run and a manage a string of failing hotels. My Two Cent Review It has been ages since I played this game. I originally discovered this game early 2010's that was a Demo for website called "Big Fish Games". I had entirely forgotten about the game till a couple of months ago when this game popped up on my recommended page on steam. Since it was only 7 dollars I bought it and it is a lot more buggy then I remember. The games not optimized for newer computers past windows 7 so if your planning on picking up this game you best bet is run it in windowed mode otherwise you'll be doing with an awful mouse bug and for some reason graphical lag?? Which is crazy. The story is stupid with Quinn booking all of these people failing hotels and they just buy out the hotels and fix them up as a "simple" solution to there booking problems which I find hilarious. There are over fifty levels with there being 5 maps in total which equals to 10 levels a map. They add a variety of guest to add challenge to the game but if your good at time management none of them are actually a problem. It took me a couple of hours to beat the game and I'm glad I did it was a good blast to the past and am glad I finally finished one of these flash games from my youth. The Value Of The Game It's seven dollars but it's a bit of optimization mess. If your good with playing in a window mode or an old computer then by all means give it a try if old school time management games are you thing.
Final Score 65/100 Ranking D Tier
