No se que tanto se quejan los demás, vi muchas malas reseñas y yo sin hacerles caso lo compre, es exactamente el mismo juego de los 90s. Nostalgia pura, yo crecí con este juego y aun después de 30 años lo sigo amando, sin duda alguna lo seguiré jugando por siempre. Si lo jugaste y te recuerda a tu niñez, compralo, eso si en oferta jejeje

This is probably one of the best ways to play the ps1 games, because of the widescreen hack & fixed movement on the 3D games (both Gex 2 & 3), but for Gex 1, the default controls are lame, and you can't even rebind them? seriously? The games are emulated, they aren't even ported!, i would say this collection was lazily done but these fixes in the 3D games are welcome. But c'mon, Something better could have come out for a Gex collection... Although, I really welcome the new main menu, the music player and the interviews. This collection is a... 6/10. But next time PLEASE do a port or something else that aren't lazy emulated collections. ADD A REBIND OPTION!

I wondered, why Gex hasn't had a comeback similar to Crash, or Spyro.........and after listening to him for 3 games straight, the reason became quite obvious. The games themselves haven't held up that well. The first one is a 2D platformer with camera being way too zoomed in, which causes some frustration, because you don't really see what's coming and that is exacerbated by bad controls. The second and third game are noticably better, with them being a 3D collectathons, however, they do still suffer from camera issues and bad hit detection. That said, i think the problem is the titular character. He is a wisecracking antropomorphic animal, that spouts out a lot of lame jokes, or references masquarading as jokes and has a charm of a rotting plank of wood. Now, This collection offers also a PAL versions for second and third game, where he is dubbed by a different actors and their delivery is way better, unlike the NTSC version, that's like having to sit through an unfunny stand up with a smug overconfident comedian. It's good, that these games can be legally bought, however, they are not great. There are titles that are dated, but still enjoyable. Gex trilogy isn't that. Arguably, they weren't good platformers in the first place, but weren't so atrocious that the franchise could be meme'd back from the dead like Bubsy. There are people who have a lot of nostalgia and fondness for the adventures of this lizard and that's awesome, but, personally, i didn't enjoy this.

I have been so excited!! Literally Everytime that meme on Facebook came up.. the one "if any game from your past could be remade what would it be?" For sooooo many years! (It's been over a decade now!) my answer was always "Gex" This past Christmas I emulated Gex because I just wanted to play so bad.. had no idea they remade it in June of 2025... I was sooo happy & upset at the same time... I missed the biggest launch I actually cared so much about..... This is a huge deal for me! I'm so happy I can play this game with not only achievements but on my Steam Deck too. Truly an Amazing time to be alive!

Gex is a revolutionary platformer that I feel has been forgotten by time. Many of the intricacies you see in Gex have been used and improved on in games following this hidden gem. A true classic in every sense of the word, nothing has ever stuck with me quite like Gex has, its story sucks you in and at the end, you'll be wishing for more but satisfied with the conclusion. This game has changed me for the better and I will one day tell my children about this masterpiece

Way, WAY too expensive for what it is - A 30 year old game. Also it wasn't as fun as when I was a child.
