Good game, puzzles from easy to medium level. Short story Needs more chapters because you need a friend to play together and communicate to finish this. https://youtu.be/VgCGpakyAsA
Get Together: A Coop Adventure, developed and published by Studio Sterneck, is a beautifully understated cooperative puzzle game that emphasizes communication, connection, and trust between two players. Rather than relying on action or reflexes, it builds its entire experience around the concept of working together—literally. Two players are separated within a mysterious world, each with access to a slightly different version of the same environment. Their goal is to reunite two lost souls by solving puzzles that require careful description, attentive listening, and a shared sense of discovery. It’s a game about perspective, not only in the literal sense of what each player can see on their screen, but also in how they collaborate to overcome obstacles and complete the journey together. The design philosophy of Get Together is both elegant and refreshing. Each player uses their own device, seeing only a portion of the world and clues that their partner cannot. Communication is the key mechanic—players must describe what they see, compare information, and figure out how their worlds connect. There’s no shared screen or online matchmaking system; it’s an experience built for two people communicating through voice, either in person or remotely. The puzzles themselves vary in complexity, ranging from simple visual pattern matching to more intricate tasks that involve memory, timing, or spatial awareness. What makes them satisfying is not just solving them, but the process of figuring out how both perspectives fit together. Every success feels like a joint accomplishment, a small testament to teamwork and patience. Visually, the game adopts a painterly, minimalist art style that evokes a sense of calm and wonder. The environments are rendered in soft tones with subtle gradients and stylized geometry that highlight essential puzzle elements without clutter. Each scene feels handcrafted and deliberate, encouraging exploration while maintaining clarity. The sound design complements this gentle aesthetic with an ambient score that flows seamlessly with the pace of play. The music and environmental sounds are subdued yet emotionally resonant, helping to create a mood of quiet companionship. Together, these artistic choices cultivate an atmosphere that feels meditative rather than competitive—more about the journey and connection than the challenge itself. One of the most interesting aspects of Get Together is how it redefines what a cooperative game can be. It doesn’t rely on combat or synchronized platforming; instead, it leans into empathy and communication as its core mechanics. The game encourages players to slow down, listen carefully, and articulate clearly, which makes it uniquely personal. This makes it an especially meaningful experience for couples, friends, or even strangers looking to share a genuine sense of cooperation. It also avoids the pitfalls of frustration that often accompany complex puzzle games—since both players have incomplete information, blame is rarely one-sided, and every revelation feels mutual. The absence of time pressure reinforces this thoughtful pacing, making it accessible even to players unfamiliar with puzzle games. However, the experience is not without limitations. The overall length of the game is short, typically taking one to three hours to complete depending on the pair’s communication style. Once the story is finished, there isn’t much incentive to replay, as the puzzles lose their mystery once solved. While the brevity makes it approachable, it may leave some players wanting more. Additionally, the necessity of having a cooperative partner can be both a strength and a barrier—this is not a game that can be played solo or improvised with AI assistance. It requires two willing participants who are equally engaged, and when one player struggles to communicate or loses focus, the experience can stall. Some puzzles also rely heavily on precise verbal coordination, which can lead to confusion if communication breaks down. These issues don’t detract from the game’s core strengths, but they do make it clear that this is a very specific kind of experience, one that thrives on mutual attention and effort. Despite its modest scale, Get Together: A Coop Adventure succeeds in creating a rare and heartfelt form of interactivity. It takes the essence of cooperation—trust, communication, and patience—and transforms it into the backbone of gameplay. Every puzzle solved feels like a shared triumph, every mistake an opportunity to laugh and recalibrate. Its short runtime becomes a virtue, allowing players to enjoy a complete, self-contained experience without fatigue or repetition. It’s not a game meant to be mastered or replayed endlessly; it’s one to be shared, remembered, and perhaps revisited with someone new. Studio Sterneck’s work stands as a quiet reminder that games can still surprise us not through spectacle or complexity, but through the simple joy of connecting with another person in a shared world. Rating: 6/10
My spouse and I just finished this game. Some of the puzzles were really tricky so sometimes we took a break and came back later. There is always enough information to get the job done, even if it doesn't seem like it. Super fun game, would love to see some more!
I have played this game with my gf and we both enjoyed (however last 2 ch ware difficult a little bit), i highly recommend it if you are looking for a chill game to play with your partner
