Gemini Rue is a tight, moody sci-fi noir that punches well above its weight — the dual-protagonist story kept me hooked right up to the twist, and the Blade Runner-esque atmosphere drips from every rain-soaked pixel. The voice acting and Nathan Allen Pinard's synth-heavy soundtrack do a lot of heavy lifting, selling an emotional depth that the low-res art occasionally struggles to convey. The combat sections are clunky and a few puzzles had me pixel-hunting with a walkthrough open, but these are minor annoyances in an otherwise compelling package. If you can appreciate a well-crafted narrative over flashy mechanics — think classic LucasArts spirit with a Philip K. ♥♥♥♥ soul — this is absolutely worth your time.
Great classic-style quest / adventure game.

I really wanted to like this game. I heard good things about it. It ticks a couple boxes of my interests. But at best its .... okay. The story was well told.. but telegraphed the twists. No surprises. In these detective mystery type games that's a big one. I will say that I didn't finish this is a reasonable time line. I would go back and play it every couple years.. so i did spend a lot of time trying to figure out what I was supposed to do. again and again. the story wasn't just compelling enough to bring me back and need to finish it. its 8-bit art design and it works, but it gets in the way of some solutions to puzzles. Maybe it might be better for those with better eye sight or moves the mouse around every scare inch every scene every time.. That discolored patch... its not a patch.. that's the object/pathway to take. ! That discolored patch.. that's.. just discolored patch on the wall/flooring. The puzzles... why so much clicking for each movement? I would suggest the game if its on sale. its a decent enough story. and the art design is good enough.. Maybe it would present better on the Steam Deck and not a monitor.
great
Неинтуитивный квест буквально с самого начала
Definitely recommended. Good atmosphere despite the lower budget (boosted by the excellent voice acting and music), very interesting story and logical puzzles (see, adventure games and logic can really go hand to hand if you make it so), decent playing time. Reminded why I love this genre.
História intrigante e puzzles bem feito. Recomendado a todo fã do gênero.
Pretty bad game. It has a nice atmosphere but that's about it. Bad UI. Lots of pixel hunting. Moving the character is a chore. Puzzles are not logical. Voice acting is ok, but recording is not ok. Story makes no sense (given the bad guys capabilities, there is no reason why they would do such convoluted things). I'm still an p&c fan so I did enjoy going through it (with a walkthrough to stop being frustrated by the bad design), but I can't recommend. Go play resonance instead!
