DEMON'S TILT

Demons Tilt stands as a clever reinvention of the classic digital pinball genre, clearly inspired by one of my favorite titles Devils Crush originally released by Naxat on the Turbo Grafx 16/PC Engine. This modernized homage is developed by WIZNWAR, the game distinguishes itself through its haunting aesthetic, characterized by intricate neon pixel art and a pulse-pounding synth-wave soundtrack that intensifies with every successful combo. It ditches the traditional, grounded physics of a classic machine for a chaotic, occult-infused experience that feels more like a "Cave" gothic bullet hell shooter than a casual pinball arcade game. While the primary objective remains centered on racking up high scores through precise flipper control and combos, the inclusion of screen-filling bosses and multifaceted table missions elevates the experience beyond your basic standard fare. While the learning curve is admittedly steep due to the layout of the table and some visual clutter causing you to occasionally lose track of things, I still think it is a very well designed game that they just do not sadly make anymore, Demons Tilt succeeds as both a nostalgic homage and a modern evolution. Whether you are a pinball purist or classic arcade fan, Demons Tilt is an excellent title for enthusiasts of this genre, offering a challenging and visually interesting tribute to the pinball cabinets of yesteryear.

I was worried it was going to be too difficult, but getting good at this was extremely satisfying.

The table itself is superb - beautifully constructed, the ball physics are tight and predictable, flipper placement is well thought out and aesthetically the whole game is on point (the ball launch music reminds me of Hang On's "attract mode" theme). Demon's Tilt is a great game, overpriced but nonetheless great. I'd honestly say pick this up on sale because there's simply not enough content to justify the regular price tag. I'm recommending it based on the quality of the included content, it's unquestionably addictive.

The music genre goes : Killer FM synth prog-metal soundtrack: E.C.2151's mega-driven tunes escalate the madness, perfectly syncing with multiball insanity and boss rushes – it's an auditory assault that demands headphones. OR< just use your own music if that's not your jam :) DIY if you require it. Over the top abyss of depth & replayability: Combo chains, 99x multipliers, ritual bonuses unlocking wizard modes, cryptic secrets, and billion-point potential on one epic, ever-evolving table – tight physics keep you hooked for hours. Feels incredible with a controller! :) There's tons of settings to customize your experience, and visiblity! and overall, this is one of the few better than WinXP / 98 Pinball legacy :)

Best pinball game I've played, and I've played a lot. Objectives are challenging, but feels very rewarding when accomplished. Pumped to play Xenotilt next.

Good pinball

Just play the Xenotilt instead, it improves on the original in every way. Plus, there is a significant and baffalling amount of input lag, exactly not what you want in a pinball game!

The table design is absolutely terrible. The bottom third of the table is a joke. The ball physics make no sense at all the ball feels like it is floating. Parts of the table will just launch your ball straight down the drain. The pink projectiles completely destroy the game and add nothing at all. If your ball hits the projectiles it just stops totally destroying any flow. Gaining multi takes you to the bottom third of the table which will just kill you instantly and is impossible to get out of. The graphics are good, the music is good, the theme is good, the game itself is not good. Stay away from this garbage and don't listen to the reviews that say play Xenotilt instead it has exactly the same problems.

Only play on my deck and its always fun
