Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was extremely disappointed with this game, soundtrack is not as memorable, art direction and sprite work are way less expressive and feel clunky. I cannot conceive how the story is as mediocre as it is, considering this is serves a sequel to Takes off. To truly drive the final nail in the coffin is the multiplayer. Me and a friend tried repeatedly to play co-op and consistently ran into connection issues. The only positive I can say is game play, in that it works and is serviceable. Just buy the original if you want a Scott PIlgrim themed beat em up
this game feels awful to move around in, in comparison to the first game. no side stepping, no dodge rolls, and feels like im constantly walking on sticky slime or something. usually this would be a dealbreaker, but i gave it a chance and it isn’t the worst movement in a game ever. the writing is shallow, with characters playing one-note versions of themselves, even some of the music is annoying. seems they just wanted to cash in on the recent show’s popularity instead of making a good game. while i got some enjoyment out of it, i cannot recommend it to anyone.

As much as a fan I am of the Scott Pilgrim Series, from the books, movie, first game, and the animated series I've watched/played, Scott Pilgrim EX is a rather mediocre game. It's not downright bad by any means. There's been some love put into it, but unfortunately that can only get so far when it comes to making a good game. == STORY 5/10 == Avoiding spoilers, this game's story is a generic time travel plot. Which is not bad, if done well. I feel like it was a little undermined by how short the game felt (We'll get to that). It taking place in the animated series's timeline, which was a nice touch, I guess. == GAMEPLAY 3/10 == The gameplay is basically what the first game had, but stripped down to its most basic concept. You don't gain new moves (Minus the assists summons) by leveling up. The enemy variety was mixed in my opinion. There were some uniqueness near the end, but compared to the first game, it was wasn't really much. Movement was janky as hell, and was not much of a fan of that. Despite that, the worst of all was, IT WAS TOO SHORT. For the price, this game had to little and felt like it should have been cheaper for what it had. Locations were either 2-3 room big, or literally just one room. As flawed as the first game was, at the very least it tried to make each location/level feel extensive and fun to play through. == STYLE AND MUSIC 7/10 == The only redeeming quality this game has is it's artsyle and (some) music. It was nice for the original composer from the first game to come back to make the music for this game. == CONCLUSION == This game is best bought cheap. 4/10

Game just feels bad and clunky to control, especially after cosmic invasion and shredder's revenge, almost every aspect of the game feels sluggish or lacking on purpose to pad game time or fake difficulty. You can save yourself the time and money and skip this Tribute release. Hope their next game is better.
This game is just simply not as good as the first game; everything just feels slow and boring and the story is very generic. I would say wait for a sale, but the game never goes on a damn sale for some reason and it’s don’t have a demo, because it’s very overpriced: there are far better beat em ups.
It's like the first game but if it just had no sauce
The sprite art of this is a lot better than the original, and then it's worse in every single way possible. The original was a lot more endearing with its lack of dialogue. Now, everyone is a cut and dry archetype, and Roxie won't stop talking about girls. I like Roxie, but I wish she had more going on. Also the general gameplay was a lot harder to get around, and also suffered from the same extremely high difficulty curve that the original had. Not worth the $30 I paid day 1 sadly.
It feels like the people at Tribute and even Byran Lee O'Malley himself learned a lot from the time between Scott Pilgrim vs The World The Game in 2010 and Scott Pilgrim EX. The moves hit harder, there's a greater variety between the characters, the animation is much more refined, and the story is the alt universe what if nonsense you should make long after the original story has been told. I am here for Train Pirate Stephen Stills. My complaint, however is that it suffers from the exact same problem Cosmic Invasion had. The rampant difficulty spikes can kill your momentum and even have you grinding, or even worse, joining up with randos! And Scott Pilgrim isn't as popular of an IP as Marvel, so you may be a bit out of luck on finding strangers. However it's still a fun time, and if that didn't bother you about Cosmic Invasion it won't bother you here. Overall, if you're a Scott Pilgrim fan, you owe it to yourself to check this game out.
