Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is based on the pricepoint worth buying. the action is great and some abilities are loads of fun. It is however not a great game. The developers seemed to be afraid to add any depth. eg. there are supply missions to get mods but after a while you just have an abundance of"legendaries" why not add a mechanic where you can upgrade your weapons or camp or anything. this is an Xcom like game. In XCOM you want to keep your squads alive. Here it doesnt matter because you can add new troops anytim to your roster and in many cases the new troops have the same or higher level. Besides the story missions there are 4 types of missions that get cycled. If I paid 60 euro I would have been mad. 15 is a decnt deal for 30h of decent fun.
So far playing on insane the game is hard, but feels good figuring out how to beat the level

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I wish steam could allow us to leave a 'mixed' review ourselves. The game isn't outright bad, but it has some very weird mechanics that become nasty during higher difficulties. Enemies moving immediately as they spawn, enemies shooting you through walls, enemy grenades applying damage and status through solid cover/walls. Not to mention the TERRIBLE modifier system during veteran plays. Like why the hell do I want to inflate difficulty even higher (to sometimes unplayable levels) without getting any rewards? Also a big note: the autosave system is really a mixed bag. Yes on one hand it discourages save scumming, yet on the other one when the game crashes (and it WILL crash) you are back to where that last point was. Again very frustrating on higher difficulties when moves & planning is hours of gameplay, after my last crash I just unistalled and that's it.
Gears Tactics is a great for fans of XCOM and other round based strategy games as well as Gears of war fans. The gritty atmosphere feels like Gears while the round gameplay encourages to use each characters strenght to gain combos that really make the battles fun. Medium difficuly might be a little too easy for most players, but that is of course changable. Thunbs up from me.

good
I've never played a turn based strategy game before and I quite like it. The mechanics and graphics are good and the campaign is interesting and fun. The only downsides to the game are the same side missions which quickly get monotonous and the recruit system isn't that great as you don't know anything about them.
游戏难度3颗星 4k画质分辨率下很画面精美
The combat is satisfying, the skill trees are fun to mess with, and it actually feels like Gears even as a turn based game. If you like XCOM style games and the Gears universe, this is absolutely worth playing. My gripe with it is that leveling up recruits doesn't really matter as you get higher leveled recruits down the line and you're mostly forced to play with the main heroes. The game also does get repetitive towards the end with the side missions and once you realize the game consists of only like four objectives; blow this up, rescue hostages, hold an area, run away from nemacysts. The game is only like 25hrs long and there's not really any replayability or a NG+, unless you start the game from scratch on a different difficulty.
