Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Did you know the Cole Train runs on Wholegrain, baby? Everybody wants to see the train, baby. The game at the core is still Gears of War, but I would be damned if I could identify things between this and the original game. In playing co-op with a friend that played the others recently he noticed changes in cutscenes that felt off and there were a couple that felt like a Marcus impersonator was reading them instead of Mr. Bender man. Multiplayer's pretty much 2006 all over again, absolute timewasting between rounds and just meh multiplayer all round. To some it'll be home, to me I didn't care for it then and still don't now. If you want to replay this game again, I would say buy it on sale but don't mug yourself for this.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Do not buy this port of a port. I had my issues with "Gears of War Ultimate Edition" on the xbox store, but this steam version is just riddled with bugs that will not be fixed. It would take dozens of trys to connect and play campaign with a friend. If we joined together in the menu, it would kick me when he started the game, and if I joined after he had already started playing, it would not let me connect unless the stars alligned. Additonally, it would just remove me from the game in some of the larger encounters on Co-op. On top of that, I encountered several graphical glitches, achievements would fail to unlock, the annoying prompt to connect your accout to play. Conceptually, this is just a cash grab. The 360 version with xbox live was easier to play with a friend than this one. That being said, E-day looks great so far.
Didn't let me connect to multiplayer, no sort of DNS or Port changes did anything to fix it. Typical Microslop. Finished the original on the xbox instead, It's alright.
Coalition e Xbox deveriam ter vergonha de lançar um jogo que simplesmente não abre.
i love this

literally the same game, again. no complaints.
unplayable after whatever update, and coalition dosen't care. no one to call EDIT: found the fix, game is goated
I went into Gears of War: Reloaded curious as to if it still holds up and if there's any value to playing the first game in the series considering how much shooters have evolved since the mid-2000s. This was my first playthrough ever and I had a blast. The game wasn't nearly as dated as I had heard, the graphics look great, the story's a nice ride, and best of all, the gameplay is incredibly fun. You take cover, shoot, run, and repeat. Simple as that and yet, it managed to be entertaining all the way through. The game is in a sweet spot where it doesn't go on long enough for a gameplay loop like this to go stale while still being satisfying by the end. As for the story itself, it was fun, if not a tad bit basic. It was probably a relatively fresh story when it released over two decades ago. Playing on a harder difficuly definitely makes the game more tactical and gives it some spice. An unexpected highlight was the main squad you run with in the story. Marcus Fenix and his team have a great dynamic and are, mostly, easy to get attached to. The only issues I had were some textures popping in late, frame dips, and a chapter at the end of the game that was oddly unbalanced, difficulty-wise, compared to the rest of the chapters. The mutiplayer was also pretty fun and still has active players. By the end though, I really did enjoy my time with Gears of War: Reloaded and I hope the rest of the series gets remastered/remade and brought to PC. 8/10.
