I will start off saying the multiplayer side is horrible. i'm pretty sure its the EU side of the servers but its inconsistent with shots not hitting or registering & lags quite often in most games. however the story side is good still with updated cutscenes. in total the game run decent but its not the best im afraid i will say its the worst gears game for multiplayer side but makes up for a decent story. would i tell someone to buy this game absolutely no. i would instead tell them to buy/play gears 5 or the upcoming gears E-day instead. rate the game 5/10
To begin with I dislike GOW PVP, so that whole part of the game for me is a no go. I do love the PVE though, but as they didn't add horde mode with this remaster of a remaster (or even bot PVP matches), the only thing for PVE players is the campaign. If you have 1 person extra to play CO-OP with, this would be a great experience but the AI teammate AI is so much worse than I could ever describe so my playthrough of the campaign was agony in so many ways. I just wish they would port 2 and 3 to PC and release them on Steam (maybe Judgement too but never got to play that so IDK how good it is). Performance was a bit weird and stutter too even though the remaster doesn't look that good.

Initializes the anti-cheat, plays the opening studio logos, and then crashes just as the menu appears. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, verifying integrity of files, and multiple suggested "fixes" to get this game to start with no success. Now I'm tired and I don't even want to play this piece of ♥♥♥♥. An absolute waste of time.
i mean it's gears of war remastered, what did you expect? this release is purely for more people to play, mainly from steam and playstation. it'll keep you busy until E-day

ue6 remake of all gears games would be nice. get over 90fps-100+ when using dlaa 4k maxed at least it's playable. 30fps cutscenes tho that sucks to see. after looking how gears eday look and playing the gears 5 first this game is outdated but still ok visuals. hope to see gears 1-4 remade in ue6 at least if not 5 as well.
