Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great remaster
Amazing game and franchise. This edition is worth the money. I wish there were bots in private multiplayer, but no biggie. I enjoyed revisiting this game in this Reloaded form so much that I went back and started playing the entire franchise over again. Looking forward to E-Day.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I like Gears of War, but man this port is pretty rough. I gave it a thumbs up because i like Gears (1-3), and im glad its on Steam, and it was fun to play, but man this port has some issues. I just think you should be aware of them if you decide to purchase this game. If I could I would give it a medium review. Things I found that were messed up in this port are: -Glitchy spots when walking that you get caught up on -Teammates dont follow you 80 percent of the time, and just hang back until you get to a checkpoint, and just teleport to you, Calling them didnt work when that happened also (I suspect this broke in the porting process, a long with a few other things) -I had teammates get "downed" but were just standing there -Dom blocked a few doorways so i couldnt get through them, and WOULD NOT move. I had to restart the checkpoint -Teammate commands hardly ever worked -I dont like how bullets would go right through enemies but wouldnt count as a "hit" (though to be fair, I think the OG game was like that also) -The shadows were pretty bad. You would walk through some spot lights, and it wouldnt cast a shadow where you would expect. (This is something i would think they add/fix in the "remastering") -Enemies would just get stuck and glitch in a spot sometimes I think a lot of these problems are stuff breaking in the porting/remastering process, but i think one or two were in the OG game also. When that stuff happens it kind of bugs me and I feel the game didnt have enough polish time Some things I really did like about the game: - I really like the ragdoll, gibs, and physics objects. I love when games have those. Especially if the game runs well at a high frame-rate -I did like how "well" the game ran, (even if it had some bugs at times) I got a pretty much solid 240 fps native. (VERY RARE for an Unreal game) They should just build games on old Unreal engines and port them over since they can run so well that way haha. -The game ran great on Linux Overall I had fun playing, and enjoyed how well the game ran and looked, but man those bugs started to annoy me. Just be aware of that if you do buy this game, and I would recommend getting it on sale because of the numerous bugs.

Great fun but a really short game. By the time you can the feel for combat, the game ends. Hope we can more Gears game on PC to complete the story.
Good Remake.
Kinda sucks.
People just came here to complain and then you realize its just their game skill level and worse, they obviously shouldn't own a PC either. Don't put your stats down. That proves nothing. If the game isn't working right, that is a you and your PC problem. Get better. With that out of the way, it is a Gears of War game. What did you expect? Buttery smooth graphics? Less clunk? It came out almost 20 years ago. It is what was advertised. Add illiteracy to the bad skill and not being able to run your machine. Delete the game. Delete Steam. Get a Nintendo, nerds. Be mad. I don't care. I'm just tired of whiny gamers.
If you're itching for that old GoW feel, this is it. Both the good and the bad. Difficult yet rewarding. Glitchy but not game-breaking. Regrettably, they have never remade GoW 2 or 3, so that's kind of a let down. But hey, get this game on sale and, if you just NEED to, get the Xbox Game Pass for the other two. That's where I'M headed next!
