this game sucked away all of my passion in life. after I played all 4 grand prix with friends I never played a video game ever again not even once, ate a bland meal and went to sleep with no dreams.

Fun game. Characters are lovable. Tracks are fun. Powerups are fun too. The issue with this game is, the developers have intentionly provided cheat codes to the AI at 150cc races. Sleep is used when you jump a bridge - AI bots tend to spam 5-6 pies at you when the limit is 2. Basically, the AI is tuned to ensure they win. This kinda takes away from having a good co-op session and since you can't remove AI (unless you delete AI files in the system folder), the game itself is frustrating to deal with. Add to this, there are so many bugs such as getting stuck in the middle of track with no reset button. It sometimes doesn't count the lap which means you'll magically go from 1st place to 8th because the lap counter didn't record your finished lap. Plenty of better Kart racing games than this. Good if you want a casual time, terrible if you want to enjoy co-op at a competitive level.

There are alot of Meme reviews on this game but the reality is this game is actually a fun, competent and charming Kart Racing game set in the Garfield Universe. Often on sale, it's an absolute steal when it is, but I'd actually say this is worth the full $19.99NZD asking price as it IS a very well made game. This is legitimately the team you want to see port something like CTR over to PC if they were allowed to.
