Garfield Kart Furious Racing is an okay kart racer that gets by mostly on its charm. It isn't a game that I call great, yet there is enough here to make it enjoyable in the right circumstances. One of my favorite parts of the game is collecting all of the hidden puzzle pieces scattered throughout the tracks. They reminded me a lot of the Silver Coin Challenges from Diddy Kong Racing's Adventure Mode. Just like those challenges some puzzle pieces are placed right in your path, while others are hidden in evil locations that require you to go off the racing line. Finding them all made my experience a bit more enjoyable as I enjoy finding collectables in video games. The driving itself is where the game starts to fall apart. The physics and controls feel rough, making the whole experience seem underdeveloped. One of the biggest frustrations is how boosts interact with walls. If you activate a boost and hit a wall, your kart will often continue boosting directly into it until the boost runs out, with no way to manually stop it. Other times, simply bumping against a wall or another racer can bring your kart to a complete stop for no reason. The game can even punish you for going too fast. Driving or boosting off certain hills can launch you high over the course, sending you out of bounds and forcing a reset. These happen often enough that they become more frustrating than funny when you're trying to race seriously. The game's issues become much easier to forgive when playing with friends. Watching everyone struggle with the unpredictable physics, bizarre collisions, and chaotic races creates some genuinely hilarious moments. The game's lack of polish almost becomes part of its charm and identity, leading to plenty of laughs as everyone fights against the game just as much as each other. This is a flawed kart racer with some enjoyable ideas, especially its collectible puzzle pieces but again it's inconsistent physics, awkward controls, and numerous technical frustrations prevent it from being much more than average. Recommended only if you're playing with friends, you're already a fan of kart racers, or you're morbidly curious about it. But Isuggest waiting for the game to go on sale rather than paying full price.

The game crashed before we could even finish a single grand prix, the controls are just unresponsive, but we had fun despite the scuff. I'm still gonna return it tho lmao

This game is fun i haven't played it much yet but very good and 100% worth 3 bucks.
