The cozy garden that keeps on growing. Garden Eternal is an idle clicker where you tap a glowing Heart, raise bees & buildings, and draft cards through every season. A calm place, mostly. But the garden keeps its own hours, and not everything that blooms after dark is a flower.

About

Garden Eternal is a cozy incremental game about growing a small, strange garden that has a quiet mind of its own. Click to make it grow and tend it through every season. There is no clock and no losing here. Just try not to wonder too hard about who tended it before you.

At the center of it all beats the Garden Heart. Click it, and the garden grows. Raise bees, ponds and glasshouses that keep it growing while you are away, then click in quick little flurries to set off a Mega Bloom. It is the most satisfying button you will press all year.

Hidden in the soil is a quiet little card game. Open packs, draft cards, and equip just three at a time. The right three can turn a calm garden into a glorious, blooming machine.

A cozy idle clicker, happy with long sessions or quick check-ins
A garden that keeps growing while you are away
A little deckbuilding game hidden in the soil
Four seasons that turn everything as they pass
Monsters, debts, and visitors who knock after dark

This game is not bad, I am mainly giving it a thumbs down because it is a bit of false advertising. This game has the "idler" tag, but it cannot be played as an idle game. It requires constant attention and play otherwise you will get reset, or monsters will destroy things and there are a lot of events/destructibles that require attention and clicking. I think the cards are pretty cool and I do like some of the mechanics, I just didn't want this game to require as much constant attention as it does. I have to pause it anytime I need to take a break otherwise a lot of my progress gets reset.
I bought this game expecting it to function as advertised, but it’s held back by inaccurate tagging and misleading marketing. It’s labeled as a casual and an idler, yet it is neither. The game never generates resources in a way that allows you to step away, so the idle tag is simply not representative of the actual experience. You cannot leave this game unattended at any point. Monsters will destroy your structures, and constant random events demand immediate manual input. The amount of micromanagement required makes the gameplay far from casual, despite what the store page claims. Beyond the gameplay issues, the technical settings are also poorly implemented. The game cannot switch to a true windowed mode. Choosing windowed or borderless still forces full screen. The resolution options are equally restrictive, offering only 1920×1080, 2560×1440, and 3840×2160 with no smaller choices. A functional windowed mode needs at least a 1600×900 option to be usable, yet the game provides nothing of the sort.
A wonderful short incremental game. The random events kept me busy and made it feel really fast-paced. Graphics, sounds and music was all top notch. Bright neon colors and a dark background made it easy to zone in. I wish there was more content, I'd love to go into the gazillions!!
yes
Great little incremental game. Love the progression & artwork. Game currently isn't completely idle but developer has said they are adjusting the game to be idleable soon. Highly recommend giving it a go
Pretty much fun game. Thanks Roy Martini for gifting it to me!
Short and really boring not worth the money
