It is running without any restrictions and (The) Gallipoli is the number one of WW1 games. This is my guess.
fun game, can be a bit of a meat grinder like hell let loose but much better UI & server management
I own a Martini MK.IV for trench defense as it is what the Crown intended. Five Turks jump into my trench in the middle of the night, what the bloody devil?! Grab my Martini MK.IV loaded with modified .577 Snider, blow a hole though the first man he's dead on the spot. Reach for my Nestle's full cream condensed milk tin grenade, lob it downrange blowing the next two to smithereens. Charge down the fourth shellshocked Jacko with fixed bayonet. The last Adbul gets blown apart by Garland trench mortars while trying to retreat across no'mans land. Just as the Royal Crown intended. God bless King George the Fifth.

Visually it may be better, but when you look at it objectively, with the graphics you're only buying a few new maps and worse gameplay. All the weapon animations are extremely over-the-top and unnecessary; when you're not aiming down sights, the weapons also look as if you're holding them propped up against the top of your belt, which makes them block your view unnecessarily—something the exaggerated animations certainly don't help with. The slower movement doesn't ruin the atmosphere at all; if anything, it improves it precisely because it keeps the game from feeling like a fast-paced action shooter such as Battlefield 1. Ultimately, though, it's no better than Isonzo, and I'd definitely say it's even worse, specifically because of those hard-to-miss issues like the weapon's position and display style, along with the animations.

On marche beaucoup — et surtout on rampe — dans des décors superbes, reproduits avec un soin maniaque jusque dans les équipements, les armes, les ouvrages et les paysages. Le réalisme historique est tel qu’on finit par apprécier la qualité d’un parapet quelques secondes avant d’être abattu derrière. Le rythme est excellent : longues phases de progression prudente, recherche d’un couvert, observation du terrain, déplacement méthodique du point de spawn. Puis, sans prévenir, tout le monde court vers le même trou dans le sol en hurlant. La transition est discrète. L’ambiance amicale est toujours remarquable, comme dans toute la série WW1. Les échanges deviennent simplement un peu plus directs lorsqu’il faut convaincre quelqu’un, à la baïonnette, qu’il se trouve dans notre tranchée. La discussion est généralement brève. De temps en temps — c’est-à-dire assez régulièrement — quelqu’un me tue. En général, je ne sais ni qui, ni d’où. Je suppose qu’il m’avait vu. C’est déjà beaucoup. Quand c’est moi qui tire, je rate presque toujours. La Maxim améliore sensiblement mes résultats, essentiellement parce qu’elle permet de remplacer la précision par une approche plus statistique. Encore faut-il parvenir à identifier quelque chose à viser. Ce point reste en cours d’étude. C’est sans doute ce qui fait tout le charme de Gallipoli : beaucoup de marche accroupie, beaucoup d’observation, quelques secondes de chaos, puis beaucoup de marche à nouveau après le retour au spawn. Le jeu veille à l’activité physique. Très belle promenade, donc. Peut-être un peu bruyante.
