G-Rebels

This game is very much still in development. Currently for me it crashes every time within the first 30 seconds of loading it up. It looks amazing. I really do want it to work. But at the moment, it doesn't.

Game does not start

Le jeu est excellent et propose des bases ultra solides pour seulement une Early Access. Je vois souvent des joueurs qui critiquent la faible durée de vie du jeu en l'état : faites les missions avec les chronomètres et pas en facile et vous verrez que le challenge est clairement là et vous demanderont plusieurs essais avant de passer à la suivante. L'IA des adversaires est réussi; les dogfights sont nerveux et garnis d'une bando sonore explosive ! Les graphismes sont tops et la DA magnifique. Je joue en HOTAS avec le combo Thrustmaster SOL R4 qui reponds bien ! A ce jour, sans patch VR, privilegier le jeu en flat, il est très performant dans ce mode, quand la maj sortira, je mettrai à jour ma review pour le VR. Le jeu en l'état est très jouable en flat et propose déjà un bon vant goût de ce qui va arriver dans les prochains mois, j'ai hâte de voir ce que ca va donné. J'espère : - une mode Free Cam / record mode / photo mode - Météo personnalisable - Un peu d'illustrations dans l'histoire ne ferait pas de mal. 7.5 / 10

Can't even properly set up everything for VR. "Reset view" sets it to the stored SteamVR position, so there's no way to set it to your current head position. The control setup is a horrible mess. You need to pick the function for an axis or button from a list of dozens of choices. Both are total backwards to all best practices used in every other sim / simlight game (at least I know of). Instead of copying the standard ways to do it from any successful game, the devs seemed to prefer "re-inventing the wheel". Ending up with a wheel that's a square...

QuadView for VR in BETA?! Love you guys! This game is amazing in VR and great potential of being even better

G-Rebels apresenta uma base sólida para um excelente jogo de combate aéreo. O acesso antecipado ainda carece de conteúdo, balanceamento e melhorias no VR, mas já demonstra potencial para se tornar uma das principais referências do gênero.

I seriously wanted this to work. Nope. 3 hours of configuring hotas because of UI breaking mid setup and inability to save mid mission. Waiting for an update for a week. Being forced to race in an optional dialogue? I had to quit. The game is solid but it needs more refinement. Buy it now to support the devs and wait for the V1 release next year.
