About
Future Knight is a 2D action Shoot 'Em Up that fuses the nostalgia of LCD screens with the brutality of modern combat. Imagine your old handheld console coming to life, but with a bizarre story, frantic combat, and a unique visual aesthetic inspired by classic electronic handheld games.
It is May 23rd, 1993. The Lady of the Past, leader of the "Present" pyramid scheme cult, has just washed her underwear and, incidentally, wiped the brains of all humanity. Only you, a robot built over 30 years from the remains of a 90s soap opera actor, can stop her. But you are not alone. You have Two More, a benign tumor—inexplicably powerful and with a life of its own—living inside you.
Your mission is to travel to the past, exactly 8 hours before the apocalypse. Each level (Biome) represents one hour in this lady's schedule before she wipes our memories. You will have to sabotage her day: from her walk in the park to her meal at an all-you-can-eat buffet... The clock is ticking, Future Knight. Can you save the future before it becomes the past?
The key to Future Knight is Synergy. "Alone you go fast, together you go further."
Future Knight (The Muscle): Fire your quantum plasma Techno Blaster, deliver lethal bites, roll to dodge, and unleash chaos with heavy weaponry.
Two More (The Agility): Eject your partner! Use him to perform lethal Super Dashes, climb walls with his natural viscosity, fire at short range, and squeeze into tight spots.
Choreography of Violence: Switch between both characters instantly. Recover Future Knight's health by using Two More, and recharge Two More's energy by using Future Knight. Create a deadly dance to annihilate your enemies with style.
The game takes place inside the technology of a calculator and a liquid crystal display. We have created an unsettling aesthetic that blends the adorable with the grotesque, inspired by the works of Satoshi Kon and Japanese weirdness. Everything you see is ink blots moving... but we assure you, you've never seen ink move like this.
A Race Against Time: 8 hours, 8 biomes, one destination. Beat levels that alternate between horizontal and vertical scrolling with crazy physics. From dangerous construction sites to deadly sushi conveyor belts, every level is a critical hour before the mass memory wipe.
Combat Synergy: Shooting isn't enough; you have to dance. Instantly switch between Future Knight's brute force and Two More's slimy agility to create lethal choreographies. Master their differences and collect the mysterious sectarian triangles, the only key capable of unlocking the path to the truth.
"Liquid Crystal" Pixel Art: A unique art direction where LCD nostalgia comes to life. Fluid, hand-drawn animations that look like ink blots, fusing the cute with the grotesque in a visual homage to the handheld electronic games of the 80s.
Bizarre and Unfiltered Narrative: A story that is "less pretentious and much more fun." Face pyramid scheme cults and surreal situations in a plot full of dark humor and social satire.
Unforgettable Final Bosses: Test your reflexes against bosses born from an insane mind, designed to offer epic, challenging fights full of surprises.

Great little game with very solid run-n-gun platforming gameplay and visuals reminiscent of Game & Watch or Tiger Electronic games. Doing the hard difficulty to be surprisingly a bit easier than expected but had a blast playing. Collecting all the triangles helped add that needed something. Would love to see a sequel bigger and better with new retro ideas incorporated as I really enjoyed the gameplay mechanics.

JUEGARDO! XD la música es una pasada!! y los niveles tiene mucha magia retro :v
Hits the ground running. Pure nostalgic ink aesthetic done right
My attention was captured by the unique graphical style. At first, I thought this game was a fairly cookie-cutter, simple run & gun, but about halfway through it turns into so much more. The graphics are so inventive, the challenge is tuned just right, and the music is unforgettable. What a fun time!
i really like it the amazing and unique art style its awesome and the game play is so fun, definitely worth checking out
Picked this up on a whim after seeing the gameplay trailer and ended up playing through the whole thing in one session. It doesn't waste any time with drawn-out text boxes or boring backtracking. Every single room throws a fresh challenge at you where you need good spacing and quick reactions. Boss fights have distinct phases that keep you guessing. Highly recommended.
A love letter to LCD gaming. The music is great. Having all the characters be the same color could have easily made things confusing, but thanks to strong art direction everything was clearly differentiated. It's not the longest game, but for the price feel the amount of content is warranted.
Amazing soundtrack and bosses
