TLDR: Fury Unleashed is an exceptionally tight 2D run 'n' gun action platformer with roguelite elements that don't require much grinding until the secret final level. An absolute steal on sale!!! I don't like games that look like flash games. I don't care if the engine isn't flash. I just can't get past it. Or so I thought. Enter Fury Unleashed. It's got the floaty looking paper-cut-out cartoon graphics, but it is anything but floaty. Fury Unleashed plays very tight. When the developers say "We have spent five years polishing our creation," you can believe it. I felt every bit of that polish in my playtime. If you can bring it, the action can be as fast, speedy, and intense as you want. There's an assortment of weapons and upgrades that all have their pros and cons--encouraging you to choose whatever floats your boat in a given moment. There's gun-fu, melee-fu, grenade-fu, super-power-fu and Mario-stomping-fools-for-instant-kills-fu. I played on the Hard difficulty. Don't be intimated. This is definitely a good default difficulty. There's plenty of bullets to dodge and yet the margin for error isn't razor thin like other titles in the genre. It's challenging but not too challenging. During boss fights, was I thrilled? Yes. Did I tense up? Yes. Was I frustrated? No. This is a fun and satisfying game. I enjoyed every minute of it... until I got to the secret final level. But that's only because I was a little shocked and didn't expect the difficulty jump to smack me in the face. Ultimately, it makes sense and I got right back to having fun. For the hardcore 2D run 'n' gun vets, Fury Unleashed will likely feel too easy. The secret final level feels like an acknowledgement of this with an appropriate ramp up in difficulty. It will also require at least two or three runs to unlock some roguelite bonuses that will help take down the final boss. This is the only part of Fury Unleashed where I had to do any roguelite grinding. If that's not your thing, it's really not bad and it gives you some time to learn the final boss' attack pattern. There's a fun energy backing all the shoot'em up action that includes the ability to customize your character's look, unlock other character models, and download different head/face replacements from the workshop. Want to bring back Earthworm Jim? Go for it. Want to have Wednesday's Enid shooting up aliens and nazis? You can do that, too. I was content to make my own character from the options available and stick with that. After finishing the game, a harder difficulty is unlocked. I'm not that hardcore 2D gamer but I'm guessing this difficulty will really shine for those of you that are gluttons for punishment. You can also unlock some crossover modes that bring the mechanics and characters of Crypt of the NecroDancer and Superhot to the game. I haven't really played NecroDancer, so I couldn't figure the shooting out, but Superhot is a super cool mode to play. Overall, I'm glad I took a chance on this game. I had my doubts with the visual style, but Fury Unleashed proved me wrong and I had a great time playing it!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it's a fun coop game
