Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very addictive! A good combo of shooting and tricky platforming. Normal Mode was fun and challenging enough to keep you pushing. The recently added Hard Mode DEFINITELY upped the difficulty in both enemies and platforming. It's been a blast solo...but it's even more fun with friends! The NPC interactions are both silly and rewarding, providing unique rewards. If Roguelikes and Run and Guns are your cup of tea this will probably be right up your alley!
I stumbled upon KFCowboy when I was browsing Steam for new games to play. The game title first caught my attention because it sounded unique and funny and the game looked quite fun from the trailer too. I would best describe the game as a mix of Celeste-like platforming with bullet-hell action of Enter The Gungeon. You're constantly fighting enemies and dashing thru spiked platforms while avoiding getting hit. The gameplay is quite challenging, but I like that the runs are fairly short so it never feels tiring when going for another one. You gain exp the more you play and you are able to unlock new weapons with exp. Each weapon has it's own unique boosts and you are able to stack different ones together to create different builds so it adds a lot of depth and replayability. The enemy variety is great and there's even some friendly NPCs that you meet along the way that help you out. Also, the music in the game SLAPS. It's catchy and has a western/Chinese vibe to it. For only $9.99, you are definitely getting your money's worth and it's a huge plus that you can play online co-op with your friends. I highly recommend this game, if you like challenging roguelike platformers or even if you just want something fun to play with your friends. I can't wait to see how this game develops throughout Early Access!

Where to start, the normal pve game mode is a blast with your friends, if you beat normal mode try your luck at hard mode its a blast. The new PVP mode is super fun. The developers are very in touch with their audience and love to take suggestions about game improvements. So if you are interested in the game i strongly recommend it and if your friends are iffy about buying it then gift them a copy and enjoy the fun. See you on the field cowboys!
I have about 30 hours logged in early development builds and I am already impressed with how much work has gone into the Early Access version of this game. I will have to come back after playing through the current version to see if my opinion has changed but from how in touch the development team is on their discord I have nothing but high hopes! You're going to die a million times to spikes. You're going to die by being 2 inches from the edge of the platform. You're going to die by madness streaming across the screen at you. Then, you're going to have the perfect run with perfect dashes, head shots, and timing. That is the run where everything clicks and you feel like a god. Then you're probably going to die on the first level again! It make seem like a simple concept at first, and it really is, but it's executed well enough that you'll never feel like RNG got you. It's an art, or a dance, not just a shooter. I love it!
Not a huge Roguelike fan but when I heard that I can play co-op, me and my friend decided to give it a try (he's into Roguelike games). Overall it was very challenging, but super fun! Love how I can dash and jump off of walls. Super fast paced so if you're into Roguelike games, I'd definitely recommend it.
I found this rogue-like gem while searching through Steam. This game is a quirky yet extremely challenging run 'n' gun shooter. There is a definitive ramp up to the technical and operations of the game, but once you have solidified the mechanics of control, the game slowly opens up and builds upon your skill / learning curve. Kungfu Cowboy is definitively not a game for the easily frustrated as you will "die" and you will die a lot! But, overall, Kungfu Cowboy is an exhilarating fun game if you're looking for a shooter with roguelike elements. This game will for sure bring you hours of entertainment.
Don't sleep on this game. Solid game mechanics and good variety of platforming. Hard at first but gets easier after you level up your stats. And its multiplayer! A blast to play with friends. Highly addicting and has a lot of replay value. 5/5 would recommend.
Chaos is a dish best served in multiplayer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4UxM2d5sMg Watch the video above to see gameplay and my first impressions. Kick the snake out of your boot and put on your cowboy hat, because you're here to eat KFC and kick butt, and you're all out of chicken. Choose your gun and your approach for this platforming twinstick: slow and methodical or twitch reflex speedrunning. It's a shame that there isn't a timer going, because the pressure felt in co-op was nerve wracking in the best possible way. Still, that means that whether you're good or bad, you can pick up Kungfu Cowboy and enjoy it. That said, the learning curve is a challenge, and it will take a couple of hours to get good. The platforming and movement is more critical than your aim, so if you're more comfortable on a controller go ahead and ignore the game's recommendation of mouse and keyboard. Shoot enemies from across the screen with the basic Revolver or Winchester rifle, or get close and personal with the Fart Pistol or Shotgun. Yes, there's a Fart Pistol, and it deals poison damage-over-time. Some weapons are objectively better than others, but the fun is in the variety, and the upgrades let you specialize further and make the game shine as you improve. Co-op is good fun, and the pure chaotic joy of Versus is best had with a group. In fact, Kungfu Cowboy is best enjoyed with a friend. Lasso someone in via remote play or invite them to a dance so they pick up a copy, because Kungfu Cowboy is a hog killing time.
Great 2D roguelike shooter with COOP. If you're looking for a game with infinite replayability and for not much money, SPEAK NO MORE. Honestly speaking, having tried the game for a little, I could see how much effort was put into the game. Headshots feel good and work on ALMOST every weapon except for like certain weapons like explosives or the fart gun I think? In terms of difficulty the game is definitely around normal - insane. The difficulty of the game scales as you keep playing due to more stuff happening but that's what makes it more fun. There are 4 stages per level before a boss fight and the boss fights are very fun and challenging. After clearing each section, you'll have the opportunity to check a shop for mods and/or heal up instead. Overall it is a fun game and I would definitely recommend to those looking for a coop roguelike shooter out there. I do believe if the game gets more recognition, more things could happen and it can be something to look forward to!
I can see how one could think it's a good game, but even by indie standards the physics and controls just stinks on ice. There's no real polish and finish to it that I would endorse.
