I enjoy small, out of the ordinary games like Chocolatier, so I thought I would enjoy this game. I was wrong. Fruits Inc. 1 has to be found in the steamapps folder, which isn't mentioned, but that is a minor detail, since that is now pointed out on the Community Hub. Once inside the game, you have to click buttons to buy materials or 2 different kinds of workers. The only time I was able to do this was in an early mission in which it is a part of the tutorial. After that, the buttons became unresponsive, which meant I eventually got stuck on level 7, which requires you to buy materials before you can plant any trees. Trying to find a solution for that issue, I found out this game is available for free online, unsure if it is complete (it looked like it, although the ads claimed otherwise) but I did not have the bug keeping me from buying items in the web version. Stopped playing Fruits Inc 1, I can't support or play a game from a developer that has a better working version for free than it does paid. Decided to try Fruits Inc. 2, figuring the story wasn't really important. The text in the story sections gets cut off, and there seems to be no way to scroll or something to read it completely. The sections of the text that are readable though, have bad English, and while it seems the game might be from Brazil, I am unsure if those errors would not have been caught by Word if the text was written into it. As you advance you are given some sort of upgrade dollars, to be used in the upgrade menu, which is ok, except those upgrades are required for the levels, which makes it pointless to not make them auto-unlocks, Compared to Fruits Inc. 1, Fruits Inc. 2 seems to be even more lenient when it comes to the available time for the gold trophy, so I couldn't really find the challenge in it (in as far as I played, I can't talk about later levels) The game has achievements, which I suppose would make it more challenging, if you are into that. I decided to move on and play better games. TLDR: Fruits Inc. 1 is free online, Fruits Inc. 2 is easier than an iPhone game.

Fruits Inc. looked like a nice casual game which i need from time to time but i was a bit disapointed. At first i tried Fruits Inc. 2 only to find it was made for a mobile platform. A lot of the art had to be stretched to fit a normal screen so it was quite pixalated. It's also unexpectedly laggy, you'd think it would run smoothly since it looked like it would run fine on a 10 year old computer, this would get a lot worse when you have something selected and you can move it around without holding the mouse botton down unlike a touch screen, at that point the game slows down below 2 FPS. Then i tried Fruits Inc. 1 and found it much better. Everything was much more responsive. I thought i could recommend it until i found out the game is broken and you can't buy resources which are needed past level 5. Both games would actually be fun to play, both are short and not much in terms of story but interesting enough to play, the sequel is still playable although both would need to be fixed, but until then because of the reasons above i can't recommend them, not even on a sale.
Fruits Inc. 2 is a Farm Frenzy-style time management game characterized by bad level design. In a few levels, too nearby plots and unremovable obstacles block you from picking up your products. The difficulty curve is nonexistent; gold time limits seem to have been pulled out of someone's a## rather than based on how long it might actually take to complete the level, and challenges such as yetis and tornadoes that might add variation and difficulty appear for a few levels in the middle of the game and then are completely forgotten. But at least it's not bugged to the point of being unplayable like Fruits Inc. 1, where after a certain point you can't hire workers or buy resources you need to progress. No response from developers on that issue, so I doubt it will be fixed.
Plant fruit trees, make juice, sell to market, and your game doesn't save progress, so start all over. Bland, boring gameplay. Horrible farming game, cute graphics though. 1/10. Two thumbs way down.
Game Information "Fruit Inc." Deluxe Pack is a Strategy game. The game was developed by Manifesto Game Studio and published by Strategy First. This deluxe pack comes with two games: Fruit Inc. 1 and Fruit Inc. 2. They can be accessed through the game's folder in the Steam's Application folder. The game's desktop shortcut will launch Fruit Inc. 2 The Game Review Game Visuals I want to mention that the visuals in the game are well done. The visuals can be adjusted in the game's option menu. Game Audio I want to mention that audio for the game is well done. Even though the audio is somewhat simplistic and repetitive. The audio can be adjusted in the game's option menu as well. Gameplay There are no difficulty game modes. Each of the levels has their own difficulty. This is a strategy game, where careful planning is required, due to the limited amount of resources that are available. There is a star rating system in the game: Three Stars (Gold;) Two Stars (Silver) and One Star (Bronze.) There is an opportunity to replay all the levels for better score and star rating. There are twenty-six different achievements that can be unlocked from playing the game. Each of these achievements does come with some requirements that need to be completed before they can be unlocked. These achievements are in-game only. Miscellaneous Final thoughts: I have found the game enjoyable to a certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game, but not at the game's full price value.
Fruits Inc. is one of those games that defies the limitations of the "thumbs up/down" mechanism, because it really deserves more of a half-hearted "meh" gesture. It's not a terrible game, not a stinker, not fatally flawed. The biggest sin here is that Fruits Inc. is highly unexceptional. It's a casual farm-themed time-management game like so many others. It's a bit slow to develop, and doesn't get especially challenging or strategic, but does gradually develop sufficient complexity that levels have some meaningful choice involved. For afficionadoes of easy, casual games, you could do worse than to play Fruits Inc. ... it's just that you could easily do better, too.
Eigentlich ganz in Ordnung. Wertung: 0 / 10 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fruits inc 1 is bugged. You can't play the game past level 1.6 without cheating by edding the levels to obtain the needed resources. Too bad. Fruits inc 2 works, but it less of a challenge and less fun.
