Fruitbus

Fruitbus would have been the perfect game for me: it's exactly the type of relaxed, charming game I look for and love the most. The visuals are beautiful, the style is super cute, and the concept is wonderful. [h3]Unfortunately the camera makes the game almost unplayable for me.[/h3] Whenever I move or turn the camera it stutters, jitters, has terrible frame pacing and the screen flickers constantly. This causes me strong motion sickness, headaches and eye strain within just a few minutes. I spent two full days trying every possible fix I could find online (including editing config and script files), lowering all settings, changing V-Sync, sensitivity, launch options, windowed modes, and more. Nothing helped. What really disappoints me is that after two full years since release, these camera and optimization issues still haven't been resolved. To make things worse, in 2026 it's still impossible to rebind keys. As a left-handed player this makes the controls very awkward and uncomfortable. I truly wanted to love Fruitbus, but in its current state I sadly cannot recommend it. I really hope the developers will address the camera smoothness and add proper keybinding support soon. But considering that 2 years has passed, i highly doubt this will happen. I'm very very sad. I hope this review helps someone.

Fruitbus is everything I look for in a game! the cooking is fun and the recipes can be so challenging but never frustrating! I got emotional, I chilled out, I felt so attached to the characters! wonderful game!

I really want to recommend this game, because it is SO cute, it's the type of game I like, clearly love went into this. However I can't because there is so much that is unclear at least early game that it makes the game not fun to play. To give an idea I literally spent my first 10 days in game just unsure of how to do things like get more bowls, open the boxes of bowls, it took me a good 10 minutes just to find out how to buy items at the store, etc. I hate hand holding lengthy tutorials in games but this one could have used a little more guidance when just starting the game, so that I don't quit before I even get into it out of frustration, bc that's what happened w this game :( I'm just not motivated to play more and keep frustrating myself.

jogo lindo maravilhoso, amo o visual e a atenção aos detalhes, gostaria entretanto da opção de um modo mais difícil e fluído, trazendo uma questão de realmente administrar os clientes, com mais 1 pedido de uma vez, paciência, etc; entendo que não é a proposta de jogo, mas acho que traria um equilíbrio legal pra conseguir curtir a história e as paisagens mas ainda sim não ser tão repetitivo

Such a beautifully made and fun game! I genuinely had the best time playing. The story is very heartwarming, and the variety of dishes you can make it pretty awesome. Would love to potentially see more dishes added!

❤️ A very relaxing game that immediately unwinds you from the stresses of whatever you brought with you before picking up the controller. The music s top-tier lo-fi vibes; such a good time. 💔 The environments between stops can feel a little empty and inhabited, luckily the islands aren't so big you're travelling for miles/kilometres to get to your next stop.
