There are a lot of clones of this type of game out there. But this one has something. That is. So. Good for anyone Who has Light sensitivity problems. They have skins and some of them are a nice soothing Medium color that does not set your eyeballs on fire. And I like the themes of the skins. It's good. This is my go to Game for this.
Super fun and addictive, great time killer :D would recommend to anyone who loves match 3 style games. Arcade mode is super fun with all the wilds/specials that show up.

Fruit Salad is a simple yet delightfully engaging puzzle game developed and published by The Dead Pixel Society, LLC. At first glance, it appears to be another casual merging game, but beneath its bright, colorful presentation lies a satisfying physics-based experience built on timing, foresight, and a bit of luck. The goal is deceptively straightforward — drop various types of fruit into a confined bin and watch as identical ones touch, merge, and evolve into larger, higher-value fruits. Each successful combination moves you one step closer to creating the ultimate fruit while simultaneously reducing the available space in your container. The premise draws inspiration from merging-style puzzle mechanics, but Fruit Salad distinguishes itself with a focus on physics and momentum. Every bounce, roll, and collision carries consequences, transforming a seemingly relaxing experience into one that demands patience and precision. The game’s physics system is at the core of what makes it both fun and unpredictable. Fruits don’t merely fall into place; they tumble, ricochet, and sometimes wedge themselves awkwardly between others. A slightly mistimed drop can send an entire chain of fruits cascading in unexpected directions, creating moments of triumph when everything merges perfectly and moments of frustration when a single nudge ruins your careful setup. This physical unpredictability gives each round its own rhythm. No two games play out exactly the same, even when following the same strategy. As you progress, the screen gradually fills with larger and heavier fruits that respond differently to movement, forcing players to adapt their timing and placement strategy. The randomness inherent in the physics adds a layer of charm — even mistakes can lead to surprisingly satisfying chain reactions. Fruit Salad offers several modes to keep gameplay varied and fresh. The classic mode focuses on relaxed, unhurried play, allowing players to perfect their merging strategies and build increasingly elaborate fruit towers. Survival mode, on the other hand, introduces a timer and adds a sense of urgency — each merge buys precious extra seconds, creating a tense balancing act between risk and reward. The arcade mode injects even more unpredictability with the inclusion of special fruits that have unique effects, sometimes helping to create massive combos and other times causing chaos. There is also a Daily Salad challenge, giving players a shared seed of randomness for the day, encouraging friendly competition on global leaderboards. The variety of these modes ensures that the core gameplay loop remains engaging, providing different experiences depending on whether you want something leisurely or something that pushes your reflexes. Visually, Fruit Salad embraces a bright, minimalistic art style that enhances its accessibility and charm. The fruits are rendered with a cartoonish flair — round, glossy, and satisfyingly plump — while the background and interface remain understated, allowing the colorful objects to take center stage. The visual feedback of merging is particularly gratifying, with bursts of light and sound punctuating each successful combination. The overall aesthetic encourages a laid-back mood, creating the kind of experience that feels as much like a stress reliever as a game. The audio design complements this tone well, with cheerful music and soft, bouncy sound effects that amplify the tactile sensation of watching fruits collide. It’s the kind of presentation that makes the game easy to pick up and play in short sessions, but it can also be surprisingly hypnotic during long stretches of gameplay. In terms of performance and design, Fruit Salad runs smoothly and efficiently, with minimal loading times and no unnecessary clutter. Its simplicity works in its favor; it doesn’t try to overcomplicate the mechanics with unnecessary systems or distractions. However, that same simplicity can sometimes make it feel repetitive over long sessions. While there’s satisfaction in chasing high scores and building the perfect fruit pyramid, the lack of broader progression systems — such as unlockable themes, modifiers, or new mechanics — can make the experience plateau after a few hours. The physics, while charming, occasionally introduce moments of frustration when fruits behave unexpectedly or collisions trigger premature merges. The game’s reliance on luck can also lead to uneven pacing, where one round feels perfectly balanced and the next devolves into chaos through no fault of the player. These quirks, though minor, highlight the delicate balance between skill and randomness that defines the experience. Despite these small limitations, Fruit Salad succeeds remarkably well at being exactly what it aims to be: a short, addictive, and satisfying merging game that’s as fun to watch as it is to play. Its appeal lies in its accessibility — anyone can understand it within seconds, yet mastering its nuances takes practice and patience. There’s a meditative quality to its gameplay, a rhythm that emerges as you learn to anticipate how fruits will roll or settle. It becomes a test of composure and judgment, rewarding players who can stay calm under the gentle pressure of dwindling space. It’s also the kind of game that lends itself well to repeated play; each session is short enough to invite “just one more round,” and the pursuit of a new high score can easily stretch into longer playtime than expected. Ultimately, Fruit Salad is a small but polished gem in the casual puzzle genre. It doesn’t rely on flashy gimmicks or complex mechanics, instead focusing on tight gameplay loops and tactile satisfaction. The Dead Pixel Society has crafted something that strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and challenge, making it an ideal game for quick breaks or long, leisurely sessions. Its colorful aesthetic, playful sound design, and intuitive mechanics come together to create a cozy, feel-good experience that rewards both careful strategy and spontaneous play. While it might not revolutionize the genre, it delivers on its promise with confidence and charm. Fruit Salad stands as proof that even the simplest ideas, when executed with care and attention to detail, can yield an experience that’s both engaging and enduring — a sweet and satisfying diversion that’s as refreshing as its title suggests.
