About
Since the premiere, Frostpunk has been enriched with a number of updates. You can enjoy the new Endless Mode that increases the replayability of the game. There is also a new scenario - The Fall of Winterhome, that further expands the game’s universe and lore. And as a final treat, we’ve added things like naming characters and automatons and a photo mode. All of this is available for free for all the owners of the game. There are also three expansions, available with the paid Season Pass.
Although we are no longer planning further development for the original version of Frostpunk, the possibility of reliving the founding story of New London is rising on the horizon. Frostpunk 1886 will be a reimagination of the original game - remade entirely in Unreal Engine and enriched with new content.
It will combine 70% of the original experience with 30% brand-new material, offering fresh ways to shape your society for seasoned veterans, while also serving as a great entry point to the franchise for newcomers.
We’re committed to launching the game in 2027. As the date approaches, you can expect more exciting updates, a first look at gameplay, and behind-the-scenes content, so be sure to wishlist it and follow our social media channels to be the first to know about future updates!

Frostpunk is a society survival game where heat means life and every decision comes at a price. In an entirely frozen world, people develop steam-powered technology to oppose the overwhelming cold. You face the task of building the last city on Earth and securing the means necessary for your community to survive.
Optimization and resource management often clash with empathy and thoughtful decision-making. While city and society management will consume most of the ruler’s time, at some point exploration of the outside world is necessary to understand its history and present state.
What decisions will you make to ensure the survival of your society? What will you do when pushed to the limit? And who will you become in the process?
Establish laws that regulate the existence of your growing society. Decide on their working routine, healthcare, food provision and other crucial aspects of everyday life. Maintain their hope and contentment – the moral condition of your society is as important as securing the basic means to keep them fed and safe.

If you reach a turning point, do not hesitate to determine the path of your people. Should you rule them with an iron fist... or show them a way of compassion and faith? Reach for extremes or try to find a fair balance. Whichever you choose, remember: there’s no turning back.

Some of your decisions will seem small – like deciding the fate of a troubled citizen or meeting the demands of a newborn faction – but be aware that the sum of your doings can lead to unexpected results. Your people put their faith in you, but their devotion is not limitless. Leadership can be a burden.

Survival demands progress. React to current events, but don’t forget about the long term and investing in development and technological progress. Providing a highly advanced infrastructure with self-powered automatons, airships, and other technical wonders is difficult, but achievable. It all depends on your management and leadership skills.

While New London is your main focus, there is much more to the world than what lies within the limits of your city. Expeditions, while risky, can bring you valuable intel, precious supplies and grow your society’s population. There may be people out there, and their fate lies solely in your hands.

Frostpunk Endless Mode grants you unlimited replayability for the game. Play on 8 various maps, with different terrain, weather conditions and challenges to face. We know that different people look for different experiences and that’s why there are 3 modes to play in Endless Mode. Endurance will be an ultimate test to your building, managing and survival skills in the harshest conditions. Builders, where there is no generator available from the start, which creates a different type of challenge. And last but not least, Serenity which is focused on enjoying the art of building the city itself, without unnecessary pressure.

I played this game on another platform and immensely enjoyed it. So when I saw this during Steam sale I knew I had to get it. If you're a bid fan of city building, micro managing resources with high stakes, this is a game for you!

A city-builder or strategy game has never made me feel as continuously on edge as Frostpunk. It is easy to screw up, and I had to restart the main scenario after getting myself in an obviously untenable position in my first attempt, but once you know what the priorities are and how to achieve them, it rides the line perfectly between constantly teetering on the edge of catastrophe while remaining manageable. It is not impossible to get into a comfortable position, but this never lasts for long. The final challenge at the end of the main story came a bit too early for my liking. I expected the game to last around 6 hours before the finale, not around 4 (I have 4.7 hours of playtime as of writing this, but some of that was spent on my first attempt). But I suppose given how easy it is to fail, a long playtime would become very frustrating. However, once the final challenge began, it did a fantastic job of building a powerful sense of dread and it was paced extremely well, to the point where I was right on the edge of losing just as it ended, completely running out of coal with the generator shutting down just as I won.
Verkauft den Titel komplett oder lasst diesen Krams mit den Seasonpässen. Es geht mir so auf den Sack. Entweder ihr habt einen Gesamtpreis, oder nicht. Immer diese zusätzlichen Kosten nach dem Kauf.
悲惨
Incredible story, makes you just play without stopping. Very intelligent concept.
Great game. Love the aesthetics
你是说,末日里,不小心调整火塔的时候让你们冷了一下,打了3小时的信任值直接掉到底了?刁民啊,刁民!
