Front Mission Evolved

It's lilke some other company tried to make an Armored Core game. Is it particularly good? Not really, but it's certainly unique and full of EDGE.

No entiendo la mala recepción, es un juego de mechas competente, no esta al nivel de Armored Core pero el gameplay esta divertido y la historia aunque genérica esta entretenida

Très bon jeu, mais un poil trop court

A qualified Recommend because steam doesn't have a middle option. The Gameplay is pretty good. It would feel familiar to anyone that got into mech games with Armored Core 6. The Writing is terrible. Plot, character dialogue, character motivations, geopolitics, all bad. I'd only recommend it if you get it cheap on sale, and have been craving something new to scratch the Armor Core itch. it handles well and has a lot of build variety, but some missions impose limits on leg type for no apparent reason which regularly forces you out of builds you may like. Maybe a positive if you like that it forces you to engage in variety. The story is actually bad enough that you'll probably get some amusement laughing at it. I burst out laughing when a villain, all of whom already have ridiculous plot armor and get to do whatever they want without consequences, was calmly walking away from the protagonists after killing someone. One protagonist was mag dumping her rifle at the villain and when the camera cut to the villain leaving there weren't even any bullets. Didn't even bother to show them missing, the bullets just evaporated between camera cuts, such is the power of villain plot armor.
