Too many bugs, Tried to get a refund but I played a couple more hours than the refund limit.. oh well. Maybe he will fix the game some day..
I cant wait for this game to get to a better place :) Quite interesting concept.
I like this game alot but it's impossible to keep mercs on retainer and having to rehire them every turn means once bandits show up its game over this is especially true because you have a new bandit come onto the map every turn and if you fail to kill them that turn things spiral out of control so quickly.
A very enjoyable form of suffering.
it's a bit rough around the edges and some of the mechanics still need ironing out/developing but so far it's a lovely work in progress. if your thing is roguelike survival RPGs it should scratch that itch quite well.
It's a good game, u need good tactics to survive most of the bugs were already fixed so yay just report if u see any bugs the dev will fix it even though the game is not yet complete it is replayable. I love this game so much even with the bugs you can choose different gaming styles, u can be a farmer an artisan a cook and still survive! Actually when I played again and again I realized that it's only hard at the beginning, make full use of the tavern hire helpers as to not overwork, get sick then finally die. Oh and you really don't need to pay too much attention on battle if you don't feel like it, If you get bandits on your lands just spend favor it cost 10 (nightraid) from your chosen faction to get rid of them without battling.. my first gameplay I died because I thought I need to battle to get rid of them so only got few action points left each round. There are also a lot of items that don't take warehouse space like herbs (ginseng, lavender etc.) processed goods ( cloth linen leather) flax also don't take space. I also suggest you pick a gameplay with bards then befriend their city, choose your neighbors well since some of the passive boosts are very helpful depending on your character's class but the bard is for everyone and last tip don't forget to hoard firewood before winter :)
Imagine a less contrived 'Dead in Vinland' for the SNES I really like this game. Its still a work in progress, but there's still enough challenge and well thought out design to keep you busy for several playthrough before you run into any of the short comings. That said, developers are actively working on the game, and you can tell they want to do it right. Clearly a labor of love and vision.
Game is dead in the water. Do not buy, It's been over a year since the last posted update from the dev, and a year prior to that since an update to the game (2 years, no updates). Game has great promise, that's why I backed it in EA. At this point the dev is stealing people's money. Take this off of Steam and host it on a dedicated site. Don't add unnecessary trust issues to the EA program. On the other side of the coin, I wish the dev and his family the best. I really want the dev to finish (or at least work on) the game.
Jogo esta muito bugado e travando apesar dos graficos simples e está muito pouco desenvolvido para o tempo de produção, provavelmete abandonado.
I have a Lets Play here: https://youtu.be/bbAQZuZML0A I did enjoy the game; once I got past the LARGE amount of clunk to it; I was surprised that it hides a VERY immersive, very deep, simulation rogue-like; I love simulations, and I Iove rogue-likes. The issue though, is that it took even me, someone who is familiar and fond of these types of games, a fair bit of time to get through the clunk and reach the meaty, rogue-ie goodness; many other peoplewill not take that time, so I suggest the following: 1) Setting should be accessible from the start menu; the intro music is WAY too loud; also, more granularity to the sound, music and ambient volume lvls would be nice, say, as opposed to low/mid/high. It would also be nice if the game remembered the setting I had selected each time I try again. 2) The help sections (the "?")should be presented as little popup windows over each icon they are talking about, not as a giant, multipage text dump. 3) The menu can't be existed by the "ECS' key, many of them you have to hunt around for the gray confirm or cancel window; very annoying. 4) The resource list to the right of the screen get VERY cluttered very quickly; why not split it up into categories? There is "Nutrition", but it then adds all the food to the list on the left; why not hide them under a submenu or tooltip under the "Nutrition" Same for the crafting resources; ditto for herbs. This should result in a LOT less clutter. Gameplay wise: The ability to select or rename your 2 starting allies would be cool.
