This game has potential to appeal to people who like puzzles; however, the gameplay requires a lot more thought and development. It was a classic concept, but poorly executed. Graphics are well-done for the style the developers were going for, so kudos for that. The main issue is that the controls are sloppy and can't be changed - in fact, you can barely do anything to alter the interface. In addition to this, the gameplay is slow and relatively repetitive. Perhaps it improves further on in the game, but the controls were too uncomfortable to play for any longer than the time I did. With some adjustments, this might actually be quite enjoyable to play. Unfortunately, today is not that day.

After playing the game I’ve read the reviews, which are mostly negative. I’m leaving a positive review as my personal vision, that the game isn’t bad, but clearly could be better. The one thing I want to emphasize, that I haven’t found in other reviews - the game is WAY too short, so you just can’t feel quite invested in it. I really think, that adding more playtime, some polishing and addressing the things mentioned in negative reviews would result in a great game and reach wider audience.

"Frank the Miner" is a disappointing indie game that left me thoroughly unsatisfied. The gameplay is lackluster, featuring repetitive and uninspired mechanics that quickly become tedious. The graphics and audio are equally underwhelming, failing to create an engaging atmosphere. Save your time and money for something more worthwhile.

This is the least enjoyable Steam game I've ever played. At least it works, I guess.
