Frank and Drake is a modern gothic tale that puts players at the heart of a supernatural mystery through its non-linear branching paths, mini-games and puzzles, and unique rotoscoped art. Take your time, explore, and soak up every word.

I discovered the Game at Gamescom last year and was intrigued right away! The art is really beautiful and polished. The story got me hooked and at my first playthrough i wasnt able to uncover the truth, so the ending got me all ???? (Got ending 5, didnt understand why DB is the bad guy). After getting ending 1 it made much more sense and it felt nice to have this cozy ending. I still want to see all the other locations and uncover every detail. So 7 hours in, a few more to go! A detail that i found reeeaaally cool: The credits! Seeing pictures of the Main Team working on the Game is heartwarming. Made me happy to see so many (beautiful) woman in a male dominated industry! Apart from that, Kais picture is just CUTE. All in all, good game! Wish there was some kind of skip option for scenes already seen and if you could also see which locations you already discovered on the overview shown after making choices. Apart from that very much recommended. Hope Frank and Drake get more attention, so you can keep making games!!
Beautiful art style. love it.
I just finished my first play through and, my god did i love it, it scratched that same part of my brain that Detroit become human did. I highly recommend if you like an interactive story.
I played the demo, I liked it, I bought full game. Now I gotta shelve it because of uncontrollable stream of sadness and melancholy flowing into my face, alongside beautiful stylised image and great (but way too emotional at times) soundtrack. Don't get me wrong, hyper-sad games are totally OK, but the higher the volumes of emotional involvement, the narrower it becomes in terms of captivating the audience. Frank&Drake don't know when to stop, seemingly. Simply speaking, right now I'm absolutely not in the mood to play this game, even despite craving to see how the story ends. It's just tailored to a very specific audience who is in a desperate need to empathise anyone or anything, even virtual, or simply crave (consciously or not) for a new source to fuel their own low. TL;DR - play it if you're in a very melancholic or depressed state. I have no idea how it would end up for you tho.
I enjoyed this story very much, and mesmerising unique style a lot! This story is full of heart! Going to play the other choices soon, to get more in depth of these touching characters. Later and take care. Hope everyone is having a lovely day! May our savior YaHuWShuW'A The Messiah & YHWH YaHuWaH be with you. Shalom/Peace
so confusing and disappointing. have given it 2 tries and i'm even more confused after playing for nearly 4 hours than i was when i first picked it up. controls on steam deck are nearly impossible- the cursor is pulled around making the level of accuracy needed to complete a puzzle too high. art style isn't great and makes me kind of nauseous. main complaint is that there are no instructions or hints for any of the puzzles, and no help online for all the branching endings. would definitely not recommend.
Unable to end even the first day due a 'known issue' which appears when you don't solve the word-riddle during the day, so you can't note it into your diary which leads to the issue, that you can't leave it as note for drake AND can't end the day. Nice
I'm the type to love narrative games and there are good things about this one. I loved the rotoscope animation and the soundtrack for instance. But everything else either felt like it came out of nowhere, the puzzles were confusing, the UI was annoying and having to go back through it multiple times to fully understand the plot sounds annoying, I also didn't understand the relationship system. It's not a terrible game and it has good qualities, but overall I can't recommend it, sadly.
