You asked for ratings for the game. Here you go. Its shovelware that uses free art found on the web. Its a short game, what you see in the trailer is what you get. There are no other environments. Did you mess up publisher and developer? Game page says its developed by BUG and published by Ora, but in game it says its developed by Ora. Its setup like a mobile game. You're rewarded for coming back day after day. You can pay cherries to bypass levels. The levels get stupid with frogs and spikes. The levels are tiny collectathons. Get the gems to unlock the exit. Real problems I have with the game are jump of faiths. There's too many of them and I'll fall below the camera. The camera is too fast. Look down it shoots down, turn right, it shoots right, turn left, it shoots left. Having to push W on the keyboard is annoying. Sometimes I can land on an enemy to kill them other times they hurt me. The same enemy. Enemies jump out from behind trees. This leads to enemies hitting me. If you have to buy this game its $1 cheaper on Microsoft's store and free on Android with ads. It will just be in a bundle like all the others from the developer. How long until this game is kicked off Steam like your others?
Badly designed trash. The movement is slippery, "coyote time" jumps randomly work or doesn't work, the telltale sounds of darts firing are too loud and overlap eachother, menu requires mouse to start game, while game doesn't uses mouse at all. Also not a single game that goes for completionism that openly that awards 3 stars for no life loss and collect everything should be allowed not to have a proper, fast way to restart the level. The developer thought let's make the players press escape and then R, pressing only R to reset is too mainstream. Maybe that. Or the game is a badly done mobile port that can only recognize directional inputs in the game, and that's why there's mouse control only in the main menu. But worry not, log in daily and you'll get cherries to buy clothes for your fox. Also-also the game consists of 27 small levels with the style visible in the menu. Yet my fan goes crazy because of it because it's so resource-hungry, and the game takes up 810MB for the content that would be more fitting on a gameboy than being bigger in size than a CD. Badly designed and horribly optimized, just stay away from it.
This one's finally an awesome indie platformer, with some retro flavour and with everything at its right place, from the levels to the controls :) Probably I found only one negative point - the fact that the game is completely playable with your keyboard (you can't remap keys, but they're perfect as they are in my view for these kind of simple platformers) but you will always have an enormous mouse arrow hovering on your screen. Anyways, the mouse is used in the main menu - where you can access the shop section and buy things with the cherries you'll collect through the levels. The game itself has less than 30 levels, but in my view it's ok - it's surely a short platformer, but definitely a good one! I also loved both the in-game tutorial during the first levels and the fact that you get all your features from scratch. You'll move with WASD keys - S will be used too for stairs and such - but you'll have the double jump ability from the beginning, and that's great! Your objective will be to collect three (or four, but mostly three XD) diamonds on every level, in order to open the door and progress with the game. Of course, you'll face spikes, holes, disappearing platforms, levers that, activated, will create new blocks and so on, and you'll have three lives per level which will make the game both difficult at times and enjoyable on every aspect. It's really full of platformers with only one life, maybe with crappy graphics and instant restarts.. Here you've got responsive controls, full controller support (although I find the keyboard perfect for these games, but if you want you can play with your joypad ^^), great movement and jump systems and well you won't find yourself in a hole randomly, or instant-killed by invisible monsters xD It may be a mobile port, it may be short, but it's definitely a cute casual platformer and I had and I'm having lots of fun playing this title :) Where on one side the soundtrack isn't that great - quite standard and repetitive, great for retro lovers xD - on the other side graphics are really awesome for such a small game, with leaves and environment moving as you run and every small characteristic covered, nothing's left unprogrammed. I really loved the cute and colorful graphics here :) As I said, it's also good the addition of the cherry system - basically, they work as coins and in the main menu you'll be able to use them to buy outfits for your main characters, but you can also use them to skip levels if you're stuck on one, and they aren't that short going on with them :) The game features also a multiplayer/online mode, but it's not the core of the system and it's definitely not overcrowded.. quite the contrary. It's still a nice addition if you like co-op things - it's basically a "defeat the opponent" as quick as you can, getting cherries as reward and betting them before entering. But there's no one playing, unfortunately, so you'll need a friend or someone online when you're there. All in all, it's still an indie game so I really wasn't expecting an online mode. Plus, I love single-player games and platformers are always a great category to play. They've been one since I was born xD It's indie, it doesn't cost too much at all, it has great graphics and, in my view, great controls, it features lots of difficulties, tricks, hard levels and such, and it gets hard and long even if it has only 27 levels as you keep on playing. You have health points, you have cherry coins.. It's really a lovely platformer, and I don't care if it's a mobile port or whatever :P I'm reviewing on Steam and I'm reviewing what I'm playing! And it's clearly a well-made game, with lots of attention put on the controls and on the levels - the fact that there's no scenario change, i.e. you will play all of your levels with a jungle-like background and such, it's really not a problem for me. I'm playing a small platformer and not the best Mario title ever, I don't expect an awesome story or great settings. The forest/jungle scenario which will accompany you throughout all your journey is greatly rendered for what concerns graphics and effects and it's enough for me. Oh, I was almost forgetting - you can jump on frogs, wolves and other enemies and kill them! Jump on them!!! xD So, all in all, FoxyLand is definitely a recommended title for me! If you wanna try a casual platformer, playable with WASD keys or a controller and with almost 30 different levels which vary in difficulty and length, here you'll find something funny and satisfying :) Too bad it doesn't have trading cards ahah :) Have fun!
+ Cute graphics and animations - Badly optimized for PC as this is a Smartphone port, the resource and storage requirements are surprisingly high - inconsistent in when to use the mouse for menus and when not - The fox moves way too quick, making some levels way harder than necessary - All 27 levels use the same quite small tileset, rendering the game very monotonous There are way better similar games available on steam for similar prices.
FoxMania: The Quest To Review All Fox Games On Steam!
Conditions for inclusion:

The player character must be consistently a fox; the fox must not be merely a skin or a character option
Must have 100% working Steam achievements
Must not be a visual novel
Game #2: FoxyLand This is some solid shovelware here. Game engine and graphic assets seem to have been purchased wholesale from an assets store with little to no modification. The game is extremely short, about 1-2 hours long, and that includes some half-finished bonus content that was tacked on to the end. There's only one in-game music track for most of the levels: some boring, unfitting classic rock-sounding chiptune. As for the gameplay, it's not the worst I've seen. The object of each level is to collect a bunch of diamonds and reach the exit. If you collect a quota of cherries and don't take any damage, you'll 3-star the level, which is required for 100% achievements (at least up until level 27; they didn't seem to bother adding achievements for the rest of the levels). You can goomba-stomp enemies to get them out of the way and maybe earn some extra cherries, but they respawn in seconds. Sometimes you'll need to hit switches, dodge smashers and arrow traps, and backtrack. Sometimes you can hide behind grass to evade enemies, which is pretty cool. Physics seem solid enough, but movement is a bit too fast to judge jumps precisely, and the sloshy camera movements don't help with precision either. Switches work by collision and it's way too easy to flip a switch twice. Sometimes you fall so fast that you pass through collectible items. The physics also seem to struggle with determining what happens when you jump on two enemies at once, killing one of them but allowing the other to immediately kill you. All that being said, it did feel pretty satisfying to beat some of the harder levels. But having gotten all the achievements, I don't think I'll play any farther. I'll give the game a 4.5 / 10. I recommend it to achievement hunters who want a quick and easy 100% game (that is, something other than an achievement spam game). If you're any good at platformers, you'll have no trouble getting used to the stupidly twitchy controls and dizzying camera movements, and It'll be over in about an hour.

Asset flip that doesn't actually work properly. I had come across a game breaking bug and that was that. And more recently, I have realised that this is an Asset flip. Here's another one that is using the same assets. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1525650/ There are more, I just can't find them now, but I've come across them. I received this as a win on Steamgifts, so I got it for free.
The game is bad because of some infuriating gameplay glitches. First of all you NEED external keyboard remapping tool to play (default keys are WASD), the sprite movement is very fast almost crazy, hitboxes are not polished so you'll lose before you know it. When you lose, you don't have a millisecond of chance to jump or move, so you'll lose life again and again until you die.. Finally, when you stomp on enemies they pop cherries you need BUT they most certainly hide behind spikes or death pits, so you have to restart the level to get them all. Games are supposed to be fun for the players, not get them struggling between bad programming and game engine faults. Verdict: AVOID it. [3/10]
