Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

A nice, calm city builder, with only some strategic thinking. Have not yet figured out how to properly manage my commoners or citizens, but I am learning as I go.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Foundation is a chill city-builder. I have 30 hours in on the default level and never feel stressed playing it. My only major drawback is the game tends to crash for no given reason. Now the game does package crash reports for the dev team so I'm hopefull they can stablize the issue.
good game, but some issues saving progress.
Beautiful game I did not regret buying it!
To be honest, this game is pretty fun. It doesn’t feature overly complicated systems, so it is more suitable for casual, relaxing gameplay compared to other simulation‑management titles. However, the population mechanics in‑game are extremely poorly designed. I even suspect the developers made them this way on purpose just to drag out playtime. Your villagers cannot reproduce on their own; you can only gain more workers from immigrants that occasionally spawn on the map. What’s worse, a maximum of only five immigrants can spawn at one time. To put this into perspective: suppose you want to set up a tool‑production supply chain. You will need four production buildings covering iron ore mining, coal gathering, smelting furnaces and blacksmith workshops. Even with the maximum‑size immigrant wave, you will barely get enough people to assign one worker per building. Many production buildings require more than one type of resource and cannot function properly with only a single worker assigned. On top of that, storage, logistics and market facilities also demand large numbers of workers to keep everything running. As a result, your construction plans frequently grind to a halt due to labour shortages. All you can do is sit idly waiting, hoping the next wave of immigrants will spawn soon. If the dev team cannot implement villager reproduction due to technical limitations, they should at least add a population‑spawning toggle in the custom settings. This would give casual players who enjoy sandbox building more gameplay options.
