Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
One of the best city building games I've played in awhile, the way the game is designed makes it effortless to make organic looking towns/cities. It has good mechanical depth from what I've experienced so far and it looks like the complexity will increases as time goes on, but it lets you play at your own pace and take the time you need to learn. The art style is comfortable and pleasant, the same can be said about the music and the building system is really nice (although it can be a bit awkward at times) and it offers plenty of variety, this is enhanced a little more by the little personal touches you can add through the building customisation system. I'm still fairly early on in terms of progression and my knowledge of the mechanics, but I'm looking forward to what the rest of the game has to offer.
Absolute great atmosphere

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Was mir gefällt
Es gibt also genug Content.

So this thing was "patched" less than 10 days before my original review. It crashed and crashed and crashed. (Check the discussion board, search under "crashes".) Buyer beware UPDATE: It's been about a week. I increased the number of autosaves from 5 to 10; I usually detest autosaves because games usually hiccup at every save. Plus, I cannot find any info on the frequency of autosaves in the settings. All in all, it hasn't crashed. Note: I started a new game and the game has yet to reach the new maximum autosaves.
Cute, fun, and cozy little basebuilder.
Great game. Worth the price
