Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.5/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I followed this game since Early Access. The developer very obviously cares about this project and it shows in the development of this title. Where most other games fall short in the EA development, Foundation set the standard in this department in my opinion. Steady updates during EA, and then when the final game launched it was not only Unrecognizable from the EA version (in an amazingly good way) but it still held the core of the what Foundation had been since the beginning. This game absolutely deserves your attention and I hope they get the recognition they deserve!
simplement magnifique
Combination of Town to City, Tiny Glade, and Manor Lords, but I think it's the most well executed of the 4. It has the right amount of tech tree/ production chain management AND aesthetics. It definitely has some bugs that I hope they keep working on, and they could add a few more quality of life features to the main screen and gameplay, but overall it's a really fun game to keep coming back to, I'm addicted.

Foundation is an interesting take on the city-building genre, with its original organic house and road growth, an approach that is much more fluid than classical cell-based layouts. Part-based monument building is also nice, although it gets a bit too quirky in some cases. It is cute, relaxing and non-violent. The production chains are reasonable in length and there is a good variety of resources. The only downside is that logistics become tedious during the mid-game, as the AI citizens start becoming a bit stupid at covering large distances with small amount of resources.
love it
It is cute and complex. I would enjoy better house construction and road planning, something like in Manor Lords. But I would 100% recommend.
