“A dimly lit train cabin … swaying grassy plains … flickering fireflies … a mighty dragon.” Found is an interactive short film experience. Its story speaks to the connection and lack there of between nature, technology and fellow travelers as you make your way through a fantastical yet familiar world.

Heutzutage muss man schon etwas darüber lächeln. Wer gerne in VR-Nostalgie schwellt, kann hier 5 Minuten chillen, kostet ja nichts. 👀Gefunden und Verloren auf🎊 meiner Kurator Seite. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
English: Found is a VR short film with some interactivity, from 2016. The accompanying text to the film actually says everything we get to see: "A dimly lit train compartment ... swaying grassy plains ... flickering fireflies ... a mighty dragon." In a minimalist world with vivid graphics, we move from a train compartment across a wide field to end up back on the train. However, the graphics are still, or again, at the current mobile level. Most of the interactivity consists of shooting with a slingshot. There is no artificial movement. Only roomscale, if you have enough space, would be possible. In 2016, this was certainly a huge thing, so much interactivity. Nowadays you have to smile about it. If you like to indulge in VR nostalgia, you can chill here for 5 minutes, it costs nothing. 👀Found and lost on🎊 my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
I Found "Found" to be a truely interactive short film experience..!
I wasn't such a fan of this. It has been in early access since 2016, and no updates. But that's not a huge concern atm. I just found its lack of interactivity kinda boring. The scenes were kinda nice-ish, but there transitions were slow. It just felt... a bit short... but not a good "always entertaining" short, but a "oh... this doesn't feel like much" kind of short. I understand why there would be positive reviews for this game, but for me, it's a no.
"Loş bir tren kabini... sallanan çimenli ovalar... titreşen ateşböcekleri... güçlü bir ejderha." Found interaktif bir kısa film deneyimidir.
Boring and short. Might be worth experiencing for people who are totally new to VR.
"Found" is barely a game, it's more of a mildly interactive VR movie. All you do is look around and wave your hands a bit to make minor changes in the visual effects, without really interacting with the movie you're watching. Did I mention movies aren't games? What was the last Youtube video you watched? After you saw it, did you say "Wow, what a great game I just played?" No? Yeah, movies aren't games. Especially not incomplete ones. The developers abandoned this movie 8 years ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished "game" is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Graphicswise, this has some fairly mediocre/dated looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the software to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent viewers... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough. I can only recommend games to gamers, not whatever this VR tech demo was.
