About

Fortifend is a fantasy city builder where resource management and strategic defenses are equally important. Step into the shoes of the Lord Mayor, appointed by the King to expand the realm into the demon-infested Curselands. Build your settlement into a fortified city capable of fending off waves of demonic invaders.

Discover wild new lands full of scenic and varied procedural terrain, beset by demonic invaders every winter.
Build farms, mines, workshops and other economic buildings to keep your people fed and productive.
Manage resource production through four beautiful seasons each year as your settlement grows into a prosperous fortified city.

Fortify your colony with walls and defensive towers, but be sure your citizens have a clear path to their places of work. Gain a strategic advantage from waterways and cliffs.
Equip your towers with the right armaments and ammunition to lay waste to dozens of charming demonic beasts, as vast hordes of Szalspawn creep forth to destroy you. Pierce their defenses and exploit their weaknesses!
Recruit powerful elite wizards and station them in your wizard towers to give your city a fighting chance against the escalating enemy swarm.

Progress through the narrative campaign as you complete missions and explore the Curselands. Three final threats with unique mechanics await at the end of the campaign.
Unravel the mysteries behind of the death of the tyrant sun god Szal, and the history of your people's covenant with the goddess Vembra.
Test your fortress-building mettle in Endless Mode once the campaign is complete... or immediately if you want to jump right into the action! Available now with the 1.1.0 update.

still working through it, it seems very mid. will update my review when i've played more
A really good tower defence with a dash of city builder. The game is great fun and with a really cool artstyle - and lots of lore! You can tell a lot of love went into this.
This TD game is amazing! feels like a mesh of puzzler with advanced Tower-defense mechanics perfect for nerds like me. ----> Anyone complaining in the comments is a scrub that needs to "get good"; or just get some more time in on the game. Yes, I restarted a few times as I learned the mechanics, and it's defintely not "easy". Fortifend is definitely the cure for that unique tower-defense itch, and I'd say it's "Highly recommended"! <3
Very cool game! Surprisingly addictive. I was drawn to the simple graphics and pixelated styling but it turned out to have more depth than I expected!
I'm a Tower Defense lover through and through and this one is one of the most fun I've played in awhile. It has just enough going for it to feel different and fresh. There are some rough edges, but it is absolutely a solid game for what it is. The aspects of the game that work, do so very well. A few QOL updates could really make the game a perfect 10/10, but its nice to settle for a solid 8-9/10 for the time being. A true diamond in the rough of TD games
It is a CRIME how underrated this game is, lots of fun and very cool map generation. Haven't played a TD game this good in a while.
Bought this game when there were no reviews, and I have to say I have been delighted by it! First game I've bought in ages that appeared out of nowhere, and wasnt in early access for ages! If I had a single complaint it would be that at maximum speed the baddies are too hard to see when fully zoomed out.
Works fine on the Steam Deck. Game is fun. A Map Editor would be cool. Definitely deserves more recognition!
Sneaky good tower defense game. Surprisingly robust and well worth the price of admission. Runs beautifully as well.
This game is awesome! The music, the graphics, the gameplay - all fantastic and fun! I don't normally even play tower defense games, but I absolutely recommend this one.
